All my fault

Carson's POV

The three of us are eating breakfast and I still can't stop thinking about the other day. "I don't know why your even bothering. We've all tried and she's clearly doesn't going to listen to any of us" Sherri says "that's just it. I don't think it's because she doesn't want to and the day when I went round there. The way she was acting something wasn't right about them. I explain "how do you mean?" Sherri  asks. I pause for a moment not wanting to admit it then sigh. "I think they'd taken something" Jessica shakes her head "Ocean wouldn't do something like that. She's my daughter! I know her!"

"There's a lot of things we thought she'd never do. And we don't know her...not anymore"

"If she was on drugs then it would have shown up in the blood test she had when she came to the hospital because the fell. I saw her test results myself there was nothing" Sherri assures me. And I shake my head "that shows she hadn't taken anything then. And when I saw them the other day they we're sniffling, their pupils were dilated and the way they were acting all giggly over nothing. They were completely out of it. I've seen it many times. Trust me they'd taken Something" I insist "and I don't believe for a second she just fell and broke her arm and hit her head. He's clearly hurting her and now this" Jessica starts crying "why won't she just come home?"

"Because she's scared" I tell her "and he's bullying her she's showing all the signs"

"But she knows she can come home. We're only next door! She known if she's in trouble she can come home"

"But she won't. Michael will be putting all sorts of things into her head. Don't you remember when I told you I saw him writing numbers down about domestic abuse? He's obviously using the usual 'I'm going to change' excuse. Just like they all do" Sherri tells her. "That was months ago and he's still doing it. I've heard it! I've heard him screaming at her and her crying. And it kills me knowing all I can do is listen. He wont let anyone near her. I tried to see her on her birthday and he wouldn't even let me talk to her" Jessica sobs "and when I do he gets aggressive and starts yelling. If he's like that in front of people then.." She pauses and swollen a lump in her throat "I don't even want to think about what he's doing when nobody's around"

"We need to get her away from him..one way or another" I say sternly "but we've tried! She won't listen" Sherri shakes her head "well we can't just sit here and do nothing! Like you said" I point at Jessica "who knows what he's doing to her when nobody's around. And what about Duncan? Are we supposed to just sit here and wait until he's starts getting physical with him too!?" Jessica shakes her head "N-no! He loves that baby. H-he would never..." She stutters "he says he loves Ocean too" I point out.

Michael's POV

"Good morning!" I sing heading into the kitchen. Pecking Ocean's cheek then do the same to DJ who's sitting in his high chair "someone's in a good mood" she giggles continuing feeding DJ. "I'm just excited about getting our own place!" I smile excitedly "we haven't even seen anywhere yet" she chuckles "I think the whole idea is ridiculous" Mother shrugs clearing up the dishes "well we can't live here forever"  Ocean points out "but the two can't even afford to buy a house and who's going to rent to a house 17 year old with a baby? You don't think about these things that's the problem with the two of you"

"Michael's 18 and we have thought about it...a lot actually" Ocean point out. Mothers about to speak but cut her off not wanting to et into this argument AGAIN "we'll be fine...and if my beautiful wife wants a house then that's what she'll get" I smile pecking her lips "well don't get you hopes up on that one" mother shrugs leaving the room. "You know your supposed to eat that?" I chuckle at DJ spitting his breakfast out. Then turn to Ocean "are you ok?" I frown concerned seeing her wince holding her stomach again "yeah I'm fine" she smiles through pursed lips "maybe I should stay home and take you to the doctors" I suggest. "I'm fine" she rolls her eyes "you've been getting cramps all morning your not fine" I shake my head "I'm due my period soon, it's probably just that" she shrugs it off. "Ok, but if need me to come home just..."
