Jessica's POV

"I still don't get why Ocean would lie about something as serious as this" I say still in disbelief to Sherri on the way back from seeing our lawyer. "we know why. It's so it looks bad on us in front of the courts. If they think we're a family of child abusers they'll take Duncan from your care"

"but she's not saying we did it. She's saying your ex husband John did. So how would that look bad on us? They can't take him from us because of what someone else supposedly did and Michael's claiming the same thing happened to him with his uncle it doesn't make sense" I frown confused. "but, she's saying I witnessed it! and them two claiming the same thing will make them look like innocent little victims and they'll try and win over the court with it"

"she is lying isn't she?" I mumble. "of course she is! Do you really think I'd stand back and let something like that happen!?" Sherri snaps at me offended. "of course not. It's just... This whole thing is crazy. Ocean never used to lie. She was a good kid at one point" I sigh. "she let you see what you wanted to see. Good kids don't get pregnant at 15 years old and make up stories about being abused"

"I still think Michael bullied her into have sex with him"

"I doubt that. I know it's hard for you to except about your own daughter, but Ocean a slut and a liar. just because she got pregnant to Michael does mean she hasn't slept with more. she was having sex with a 17 year old when she was 15! the girl is nothing but a tramp and now she's stuck with a bully because of her disgusting actions. Ocean brought it all on herself"

"but, You saw what he was like when they lived next door. He was always hitting her and telling her what to do. Do you think he could have put her up to this too?"

"probably,  Who knows what goes on in the Jackson household. They won't be alone in it though"

"how do you mean?" I ask confused. "for them to come up with stories like that, other people will be involved and coaxing them on what to say and how to say it"

We finally get back and we're still discussing about the trial. "could they really get Duncan back this way? It's an abuse trail not a custody one" I point out and Sherri  sighs "if the courts believe their stories then they won't need to take you to court to get custody"

We hear the post at the door and Sherri walks over to get it and I sit at the kitchen table sobbing. I've messed up with Robert and Ocean and Duncan is my last chance to be a good mother and I am a good mother to him. He has everything a child could possibly need or want and I love and care for him way more than Ocean and Michael every could and now because of Ocean's lies I could lose him.

"Jessica!!" Sherri shouts coming into the kitchen holding a letter. "don't, please... I can't handle anymore bad news" I sob. "it's not look!" She smiles handing me a hand written letter. "who sent this?" I ask and she shrugs. "it doesn't say, but we can use this! And it proves just how messed up and unfit parents they are. There's no way their gonna win this case now" she smiles. "I'll call the laywer back!" I smile excitedly and rush to the phone.

Michael's POV

I'm sitting watching TV and mother comes in with sandwiches. "you need to eat. You never touched your breakfast. You know what the doctor said. You and Ocean need to eat more"

"thanks, but it's  fine. I'm really not hungry" she sighs and sits beside my on the sofa "Michael, I know your scared, but that's why Jason's coming over to go through what's going to happen in court and..."
