As I ran, I noticed the girl slow down, and she panted heavily.

"Are you crazy? Its suicide to go out at a time like this!" the girl scolded me, I saw beads of sweat on her forehead.

"I-I'm sorry! I was trying to gather some wool for a bed, and by the way, what are you doing out here?And who are you?" I asked the girl.

"My names Petra," she responded "And I was mining, for your information, now, you must be hurt, here," she pulled some cooked pork out and the pig squealed in horror. "Oh right, sorry" she put the pork away and pulled out some cooked beef. She handed some to me and I put them all -except for one- away. The one I held I ate which satisfied my stomach. "Oh and here." she handed over a stack of wool.

"Thanks! I owe you, my names Jesse by the way" I said smiling.

"Nice to meet you, Jesse, you have a house?" she asked. "There's no way I'll be able to travel back to my house at where ever I am."

"Yeah we're really close to it" we both walked to my treehouse and she nodded her head in approval as she entered from the trapdoor. The pig ran around squealing with excitement.

"Its a nice house, not much when it comes to interior, but ya know, you are a noob" Petra noted, looking around the bare treehouse.

"A what?" I asked.

"A Noob, a new player that has no clue what they're doing" Petra responded as she set down a bed. "You mind if I rest here?"

"I know what i'm doing! And I guess its fine" I responded. She looked at me worriedly. "I have everything I need to know in this!" I held up the manual.

"Alright, if you say so," Petra said. "Oh and by the way, everybody's got one of these" she held up another copy of the manual. I walked over to my crafting table and began to make a bed. I then remembered.

"Uhh, have you seen a girl with dark skin, wears a green hat, has glasses, that look like goggles and-"

"Oh you mean Olivia? Yeah i've seen her, we traded" Petra burst in settling down on her bed. I smiled.

"You know where she lives?" I asked.

"She lives in a little dirt hut near that mountain, Petra pointed at the mountain outside the window.

"We're going there tomorrow" Jesse responded.

"Wait, did you say 'we'? Well if you say so" Petra smiled settling into her bed. I finished my bed and set it down in a random spot in the center of the room. The pig ran over to me as I began to settle down. I picked him up and set him down next to me.

"Can I call you Reuben?" I asked the pig, he snorted delightfully. I laughed "alright, Reuben, goodnight."

"Hey, Jesse, wake up" Petra whispered. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Petra's face above mine. Next to me, Reuben lay at my side, curled up. When I stretched, Reuben woke up.

"Good morning, buddy" I greeted my new pig friend, patting his head.

"Time to head out to Olivia" she reminded me. I got up and grabbed my sword. I picked Reuben up and I got him down the ladder, Petra was already on the ground, scanning the area for any monsters hiding in the shade. I set Reuben down once Petra relaxed, her pic now lay on her shoulder. We began to walk towards the mountain.

"Petra, do you know why we're here?" I asked her, she looked over at me.

"I don't know, but a lot of people say its a glitch, but I don't buy it, I think this was all intentional, a little game for Notch so he can get entertainment" Petra responded coldly.

"Wow, twisted" I said.

"Yeah... twisted" we then approached the tall mountain and to our very eyes, we saw a hoard of Creepers begin to approach us.
