Into The Game [FINISHED]

12 ✣ Withered Courage

The Wither had been created. A blast knocked Gabriel and Ivor off the stage.A Wither rose up, the strange block was in the middle.

"Creature... attack!" Ivor told the Wither which began to fly around throwing Wither Skulls randomly. A few almost hit me. The Wither began to take the blocks from the hall which began building a sort of black shield behind it.

"Everyone stay calm! This foul beast is no match for me!" Gabriel exclaimed, drawing his diamond sword.

"Creature... attack!" Ivor commanded once again. Gabriel leaped onto the Wither but fell off.

"What have you done?" Gabriel lay on the ground, looking at a angered Ivor in horror.

"Gabriel" I called. Gabriel got up.

"No! Stay away! Its after me, not you!" Gabriel looked back at Jesse, fear glinting in his eyes. The Wither approached them making them duck.

"Look at him! The Mighty Gabriel!" Ivor shouted as panicked people ran away "looks like true greatness is out of his reach! He may not be able to defeat this creature, but I can! Creature, retreat!" Ivor cleared his throat as the Wither looked directly at him. "Ahem. Creature, retreat! Retreat I said!"

"He's lost control of it!" I shouted. A panicked Ivor looked to his right at me, Gabriel, Petra, Lukas, Olivia, Axel, and Reuben.

"Ah, no need to be alarmed, my friends, I  have an elixir that will destroy this creature" he pulled out a potion.

"That potion, is that?" I gasped as Ivor prepared to throw the potion.

"Uh oh" Axel quietly said. Ivor threw the potion and it hit the strange block. Nothing happened.

"Uh, what? Impossible, it should have worked... I took such care!" Ivor backed away from the Wither, which was growing new faces.

"The potion... Axel! You've got the real one!" Olivia exclaimed.

"B-but... finders keepers..." Axel said saddened.

"You thief's you're ruining everything!" Ivor exclaimed.

"Axel come on!" Olivia shouted at Axel who pulled the glowing potion. I grabbed the potion and threw it, but it was too late, the Wither was covering the block.

"It's protecting itself! Without the Command Block exposed... the potion is... useless!" Ivor shouted "it wasn't supposed to happen like this!" Ivor ran away.

"Ivor! You coward! Come back here!" Gabriel ordered Ivor but he was long gone. The Wither picked up Gabriel with it's new tractor beam. Gabriel gasped but Olivia grabbed his leg.

"Jesse! Help me!" Olivia shouted and Jesse rushed over and pulled Gabriel out. He grunted and began to get up.

"Thank you," he said "Ivor was right about one thing, I can't defeat this thing on my own, everyones running away, except for you, will you help me?"

"Of course!" I exclaimed.

"Follow me!" Gabriel began to run, we followed him outside. People screamed as the Wither grew bigger and bigger inside the hall. As I ran after Gabriel, a flock of chickens were in my path.The Wither's tentacles burst through the glass dome of the hall and the Wither roared. Reuben looked back and squealed in terror and continued to run.The tractor beams began to pick up more and more people, carrying them to the inside of the storm.

Suddenly, the Wither's tractor beam got me. I held onto part of a bridge and slowly climbed out of it. I ran and ran until I bumped into Lucas.

"Jesse! Oh my gosh! If I was still down in that basement... " Lukas exclaimed

"Jesse!" it was Petra, she was with Olivia and Reuben. The tractor beam then destroyed their cover.

"Wait! We have to stay together!" I shouted.

"Jesse! Help me!" Petra was stuck in the tractor beam. I jumped up and grabbed her arm, I held on tight to a fence and at the fence was about to break, Gabriel grabbed my leg and we were safe. Lukas, Axel, Olivia, and Reuben ran up to us.

"We must set out for my fortress, we'll be better protected there" Gabriel and everyone ran towards Gabriel's fortress, knowing very well what followed.
