Part 2: Assembly Required

Heroes can come from unlikely beginnings, and broken friendships can lead to dark rivalries. When the world is in danger, fate calls on the ordinary, to do extra-ordinary deeds, and go on journeys they had only dreamed of.

Our heroes, thrown together by fate, must now seek help from a legendary artisan of chaos, but the question remains... will it be enough to save the world?

As me, Reuben, and Axel roughly road on the mine carts through the Nether, we felt as if the lava was so close that it singed our skin. Axel smiled with his hands in the air, hollering shouts of excitement which echoed through the fiery dimension. I looked behind at him in confusion.

"Aw, come on Jesse, you're not even having a little fun?" he asked me as the mine carts wobbled around on the track. "I mean, I am! Yeah sure the worlds in danger, but this is our chance to be heroes!" Axel exclaimed.

"Just don't loose track of why we're here okay?" I put my elbow on the back of my cart. Axel shrugged. "If we don't get the order back together, the Wither Storm is going to eat everything, thats why we need to get to Magnus as soon as freaking possible!"

"You know what? You're right! We're gonna find Magnus and he'll totally know how to blow that thing sky high!" Axel declared. Reuben looked back at him and snorted. Axel smiled but then looked up and gasped, he then pointed forward and there it was, a Ghast. It screeched and a fireball shot out from it's mouth, hitting the mine carts, and making us fly out and onto the hard, rocky nether rack. I stood up, the Ghast was only a few blocks away from me.

"Hide!" I exclaimed and we ducked down behind some nether rack as the Ghast shot another fireball at us.

"Why does it hate us so much?" Axel inquired. I then noticed the mine carts slipping down a hill. I gasped.

"Hurry! Do something on that Ghast!" Axel exclaimed. I pulled out my gold sword and I stared intently at the approaching Ghast. A fireball shot out and it ricocheted off my sword, hitting, and killing the Ghast. Axel pulled the mine carts back and we all jumped in.

"You were awesome, Jesse!" Axel exclaimed "With that Ghast chasing the mine cart, thats the perfect warm up for when we get to Boomtown!"

"Boomtown?" I asked.

"Yeah! Boomtown!" Axel exclaimed. We arrived at the portal and next to it was a sign that read '!!!BoOmtoWn!!!' we approached the portal.

"I liked it when you went first last time" Axel looked down at me "maybe you should take this one again" I looked at him with a raised eyebrow. I sighed and walked through the portal with Reuben and Axel following behind.

I arrived at the other side of the portal and then Reuben fell, there was only a two block space! Axel came out, making him fall on top of me. He got up and I looked around, we were in a desert with many buildings -with most of them on fire- and explosions occurring every three seconds, no wonder this place was called 'BoomTown' the portal we had come out of was actually the second 'O' on a big sign that said the name of the town. We began to walk in the opposite direction we were facing. We went to a building and began to slowly walk against it. I then hit a trip wire, I gasped. BOOM! We flew away from the wire. I stood up. BOOM! I almost fell back as Axel and Reuben got up. We ran left and then turned right, avoiding another explosion.

"Hyaaaaaa!" a greifer cried, ran straight towards us with TNT held above his head, leaping up into the air. BOOM! A person standing on a platform above us tossed an egg in our direction but we dodged.

"Whoa! You see that? Utter chaos!" Axel exclaimed. I walked over to a crater where smoke continued to rise from it and saw two greifers, one chasing the other.

"Your loot is mine, brigand!" one exclaimed.

"You gotta catch me first, anvil foot!" the other said and they disappeared in the houses. BOOM!

"Woah! Um... I hope they're okay..." I stared at the steaming crater the greifer's explosion had made.

"And if they're not, at least they died doing what they loved" Axel approached me. Reuben rolled his eyes. "Its utter chaos! How does anyone live here?"

"They're adventurous, Jesse! It's awesome!" Axel exclaimed with delight. "Well here you have it, Jesse, Boomtown, in all it's glory! What do you think?" Axel asked.

"Well, Boomtown does keep you on your toes, exciting stuff huh?" I replied.

"Yeah! Yeah! Now you're getting it!" Axel exclaimed. I then walked over to a banner which had the same design as the amulet. I pulled out the amulet and the green crystal glowed brightly.

"Dude! It's freaking glowing!" Axel exclaimed.

"Yeah, well only the green part, thats weird..." I said.

"Yeah" Axel murmured. I began to move the amulet around and I noticed it glowed the brightest if you pointed it towards a big, tall, obsidian building. A girl greifer jumped down from a building.

"Hey there new people" she said. "You... uh, you said you know where Magnus is?" she asked. "All the greifers here in Boomtown want to find Magnus" she began to walk closer.

"Why do you want to know so badly?" I asked her.

"Oh, no reason" she replied.

"Whats going on?" two more greifers approached us.

"Nohr found some noobs with a thingy that can find Magnus" a fourth greifer said, a fifth greifer was behind him.

"Jesse?" Axel murmured as the five greifers began to surround us.
