24 ✣ Showdown

"Trying to interfere with my plans again, I see," Ivor narrowed his eyes "Your tenacity is amendable, but misguided!"

"What are you doing down here?" I questioned him.

"Being rudely interrupted by you, clearly" Ivor pointed his finger at me.

"I'm here with the order to find Soren's Super TNT, we're going to take down your Wither Storm" I told him.

"The order?" Ivor questioned then laughed "Believe me, that plan will blow up in their faces in more ways than one! They cannot help you! But me? I choose not to" Ivor walked forward "Out of my way, move!"

"Sorry, Ivor, I'm-"

"Oh you're not going anywhere..." It was Petra! She pulled out her Stone Sword and Ivor looked at her in shock.

"Petra? You escaped" He gaped. Petra cornered him but he then grabbed a gold sword from a rack behind him and swung the blade at her.

"Foolish girl! I-" Ivor began but was cut off by Petra as they dueled.

"Shut up! I don't care what you say! I'm just going to take you down!" Petra exclaimed, swinging her sword at him.

"I'm not letting him leave either" I said, pulling out my gold sword.

"Good" Petra said. I approached Ivor from behind and attacked him, knocking him down.

"I'm the only one who can stop the Wither Storm!" Ivor said, scooting away before getting onto his feet. "Not you! Not the order!" Ivor prepared to fight. "Don't make yourselves the villains in my story." He ran at me and I blocked his attack, he pushed me down but I got up. He swung at me at full force and I blocked again. He swung once more and I pushed him down.

"Your not going anywhere creep" Petra pushed Ivor down as he was getting up.

"This could have all been avoided!" Ivor exclaimed. "If you want to stop me, you'll have to catch me first!" Ivor pulled out a potion and a moment later he was speeding around the room.

"You're not getting out of here that easy, Ivor" Petra ran the the entrance of the room. All I could see of Ivor was a flash and that was it. Then everything seemed to go in slow motion and I could tell Ivor ran at me with his sword drawn. I ducked and he ran to Petra and knocked her down. She got up weakly, gripping her infected arm. Ivor swung his sword at her and she stood there, barely able to move her sword around.

I charged at him and knocked him aside.

"Don't tempt your fate..." Ivor muttered getting up, he continued to run around and I slashed the air with my sword madly. I successfully knocked him down. Ivor panted "It didn't have to go this way, Jesse, you could have just let me go." The effects of the potion wore off but he pulled out another one. "Now you see me, now you don't!"

"It's one of his invisibility potions, he could be anywhere!" I told Petra.

"Vanish all you want, Slimeball, your not going anywhere" Petra said to Ivor. He threw splash potions of harming at me, but I dodged.

"End of the rail, Ivor, we're not letting you, get away from me" Petra narrowed her eyes.

"This ones at you, you puffed-up fool!" Ivor exclaimed and threw a potion at Petra, I grabbed it midair and threw it back at Ivor who's invisibility potion's effects had worn out. He let out a cry of pain and got up off the ground. "Theres no... time for this..."

"Jesse! Petra!" It was Lukas!

"Even more of you?!" Ivor exclaimed "Will this endless parade of useless babblers ever cease?!"

"Whats going on?" Olivia questioned.

"We found Ivor, we stopped him..." I told Olivia.

"Jesse did, anyway" Petra added, she was gripping her arm tightly.

"False," Ivor said "You have stopped nothing." Ivor walked forward. "A query... have you ever seen the effects of a splash potion of slowness?" he pulled out a potion and smashed it on the ground.

"What are... you... talking... about?" We were all in slow motion except for Ivor.

"You... big... jerk!" Axel exclaimed.

"Get... back... here!" Petra ordered Ivor.

"Magnus and Ellegaard think they can stop me... that they can destroy the Wither Storm... but they are mistaken! And it will cost them their lives" Ivor closed the sliding door, locking us in.
