26 ✣ A Hole

"This is the spot, it has to be" I keeled close to the ground.

"Maybe..." Axel scratched the back of his head.

"This is definitely it" I said "Get ready to dig people."

"Who knows how far down that goes" Lukas said "We might end up digging untll we hit bedrock."

"Sure, good point, lets just sit here and sing songs instead, first song is called, 'How We Gave Up At the Finish Line... Because of Lukas'."

"Raise your hands... if you got hands..." Axel said.

"What are you talking..."

"PAI GOW!" Axel punched a block and there was the start to our hole.

"Let's get to it then" I said and we dug and dug until I found a opening underneath me.

"Are we cool?" Axel asked.

"It's a hole" I replied.

"Does that mean we're cool?"

"I-I'll find out" I told him.

"I guess that makes sense, you dig you get a hole... I'm not sure why I expected anything else" Olivia said.

"That was my point" Lukas told her.

"No it wasn't"

"Jesse's got this you guys." I dropped the amulet and watched a bat fly up.

"Ooooh... that would have been bad..." I jumped down and picked up the amulet. "Hey guys, get a move on" everyone jumped down and Axel ended up landing on Lukas.

"Whats that smell?" Olivia questioned.

"Just breath through your mouth" Petra sighed.

"Axel already does that" Lukas said.

"Hey..."

"Let's get out of here," I told everyone. Reuben squealed "Stay close boy" I then saw a opening and walked over to it cautiously, it was... something.

"Woah..." Axel gaped. The thing was huge.

"W-we have to get out of here" Olivia stuttered.

"What?!" Lukas asked.

We have to get out of here!" Olivia exclaimed.

"We just got here!" Axel said.

"You don't understand..." Olivia said "This is a grinder!" I then saw three skeletons fall off another tunnel... thing, like the one we were on, plummet into a bunch of pistons and were smashed to little bits and pieces. "They're meant to kill monsters! Trouble is, they can't tell the difference between monsters and people."

"This can't be good..." I sighed.

"But there should be a loot room down there right? Just saying, not all bad" Axel asked. I heard a hiss and saw a bunch of creepers approach us. I killed two of the creepers, however, another one approached me and exploded. A wave of water came towards us and the amulet flew out of my hand and onto a platform below.

"Was that...?"

"The amulet... yes" I sighed.

"Wait... are you gonna jump? You're gonna jump, aren't you? Please tell me you aren't gonna jump " Olivia asked.

"Jumping is the easy part... it's the landing that's hard" I said and jumped, I was followed by Petra, then Reuben, then Olivia, then Lukas, and finally Axel and I ran quickly towards the glowing amulet.
