Into The Game [FINISHED]

I walked out of the other side of the portal. Walking down some stone stairs and into a pond.

"Okay, not what I was expecting" I said. It was night and monsters could be anywhere and also that thing... the 'Wither Storm' as Ivor called it. I walked forward, water soaking my clothes. I then heard a low moan, a Zombie approached from the shadows. My eyes widened and I pulled out my shiny Gold Sword. I hit the zombie twice and it was dead. "Oh man, that was close" I panted and Axel came through the portal, he looked at the sword in my hand and then walked closer to me. "There was I Zombie" I told him.

"Oh... is it dead? I mean, you know, dead-dead" Axel asked.

"Yeah" we both walked out of the pond. Olivia, Reuben, and Lucas walked out of the portal.

"Where are we?" Olivia asked.

"In the dark, in the middle of nowhere" I replied, looking around.

"Maybe we should bed down for the night, it's dangerous to be out when it's this dark" Lukas said.

"I thought we were headed towards a temple" Axel said.

"We're looking for a giant building, it should be pretty obvious" Olivia told Axel.

"Well Ivor said-"

"Oh, 'Ivor said', well then maybe this is the temple" Axel said sarcastically, interrupting Lukas.

"Lukas is right, lets's build a treehouse" I said and everyone began building. After a few minutes, they were done.

"If I wake up with a spider on my face, I expect you guys to deal with it" Axel told us.

"Lower your expectations, Axel" Olivia said. We then wen't inside, we set down a some Nether Rack and set a fire. Me, Reuben, and Olivia sat by the fire while Axel paced back and forth and Lukas sat in the corner. I looked over at a saddened Lukas who's head looked at the ground.

"Aw man!" Axel exclaimed. "I'm going to tell you something but you have to promise not to freak out... I have cookies" Axel turned around, holding some cookies. "One for me, one for Olivia, one for Jesse... and one for Reuben" he left Lukas out. "Sorry Lukas I only have four"

"Oh, no, it's ... it's alright, i'm not hungry" Lukas responded. I then got up and handed my cookie over to Lukas.

"Take it, Lukas" I told him.

"Oh, no, no... I can't do that" he said.

"I insist" Lukas took the cookie.

"Thanks, Jesse" he said, he then ate the cookie. Axel glared at me.

"That was for you, Jesse, not him" I looked back at Axel angrily.

"If you had to, which would you rather fight, a hundred chicken sized zombies, or ten zombie sized chickens" Olivia asked Lukas.

"...Choose wisely" I told him jokingly.

"Thanks a good one, let me think" he laughed.

"How can you guys joke at a time like this?" Axel asked us "Petra is still out there, she's all by herself."

"Petra would like it, she'd want us to keep our spirit's up"

"If I was Petra... I don't know... it just doesn't feel right" Axel turned away.

"Fine then, we should get some rest, we gotta start looking for this temple as early as we can" Lukas said "now my guess is that start at the portal and kind of split up-"

"Whoa what are you doing?" Axel asked him.

"Did I do something to you?" Lukas asked Axel angrily "I'd really like to know."

"We'll figure it out in the morning" I told Axel.

"Maybe you're right, i'm pretty exhausted" Lukas said

"Jesse means us, not you" Axel told Lucas.

"Axel, we'll figure it out in the morning" I repeated.

"You're the only one wearing that stupid jacket" Axel said to Lukas.

"Take. That. Back..." Lukas' eyes narrowed and and he walked forwards.

"Can't, wouldn't" Axel said, turning away.

"You know what, I get to wear this jacket because I know how to build, but that doesn't mean I don't know how to break things" Lukas threatened.

"Your threats don't scare me now that we know how you really are" Axel told him.

"Jesse... your friend is out of line" Lukas looked over at me "I wasn't gonna bring it up, but I can only take so much."

"Let's just drop it" I told them.

"Don't be like that, Jesse" Axel said to me.

"Drop it" I told him firmly.

"Haven't you done enough damage today? Petra might be dead because of you" Axel shoved Lukas.

"You're taking this too far, Axel" Olivia got up.

"I don't have to take this... listen, why don't I just leave and let you guys hash this out" Lukas said.

"You can't leave, it's dangerous out there" Olivia told him.

"I can take care of myself, it's what Axel wants, right?" Lukas said, walking towards the door.

"Let him leave if he wants to leave" Axel crossed his arms.

"You're not going anywhere" I told Lukas.

"But, Jesse"

"That's enough, we're all on the same team now, he's staying" I said. Everyone except Axel sat down next to the fire, including Lukas.

"Zombie sized chickens, that's what I'd fight" Lukas told Olivia.

"Whys that?" Olivia asked.

"'Cause I'm starving" Lukas said, his voice cracking a bit. Everyone sat in silence for the rest of the night.
