Into The Game [FINISHED]

13 ✣ Fallen Warriors

We ran and ran. Knowing the Wither Storm was right on our tail.

"Thanks for that just now" Petra said as she ran right next to me.

"Yeah, well now we're even" I replied. I gasped, seeing the Wither Storm's Wither Skulls hit the ground, making large craters. We were out of EnderCon.

"Stay together everyone! We'll be safe as soon as we get to my temple!" Gabriel shouted. More Wither Skulls hit the ground, the trees around were on fire and everyone ran as fast as they could.

"Everyone! Keep going! We'll meet up on the other side!" Gabriel shouted. I went to the left, following Gabriel, Petra, Lukas, Aiden, and Gill. I leaped over a fiery wall.

"My temple is just up ahead! Follow me!" Gabriel shouted. I saw the temple it was huge. I dashed towards it, dodging tentacles. I was inside.

"Hurry! Inside the temple!" Gabriel shouted. Inside, Gabriel led them to an stone door.

"The inner chamber is built entirely out of obsidian. We should be untouchable in there" Gabriel pulled a lever and inside was a large square frame. The tractor beams shown down on them and they ran inside.

"Hurry! If you can get through the portal, you'll be safe!" Gabriel fought off the tentacle with his diamond sword as the group approached the Nether Portal. It wasn't lit. I grabbed my flint and steel and there it was, the swirly, purple portal that would lead to the Nether.

"Everyone! Get in now!" Petra shouted. I looked into the bright portal with uncertainty. Olivia ran through and a moment after, Axel grabbed Reuben and ran through. They turned their heads at the sound of Gabriel screaming. A tentacle had grabbed his leg and he was dragged around.

"Gabriel!" I exclaimed, hearing the ceiling rumble. Another tentacle burst into the room. I jumped over one and pulled Gabriel away from the other. The tentacle then grabbed people outside the chamber.

"Thank you" Gabriel said solemnly, he turned his head to the people outside the temple. "There are so many of them... I-I can't save them all... I can't stop this by myself. We need to find the others."

"Others?" I asked as Petra battled the second tentacle with her iron sword.

"Soren's been missing for years. But the others... you must seek them out, take this amulet, and guard it with you're life" Gabriel handed me a amulet that at one side -where a light blue gem was- glowed, the other ones -which were red, green, white, and a dark blue- were dim. "You can do this."

"How am I supposed to find Magnus and Ellegard?? " I asked Gabriel.

"The amulet will guide you... take it through the portal, and then-" a tentacle burst through the ceiling, landing in between them. The other tentacle smacked Petra against the wall. I gasped and ran over to her. I hit the tentacle with my gold sword and I heard Lukas scream. He stood by the portal in horror. Petra screamed and sliced at the tentacle.

"You two, go through the portal and meet up with the others, I'll stay here and do whatever I can" Petra told me and Lukas.

"Petra! You've got to go through the portal with us!" I shouted at her.

"Sorry, Jesse, this is something I've got to do" Petra firmly told me. "If anything happens, I'll meet you guys at the temple". I then saw Gabriel being picked up by the tractor beam, as Petra and I ran up to save him, Petra got caught in the tractor beam as well. Lukas screamed again.

"Lukas!" I shouted, he began to back up. "Oh no!" Gabriel and Petra were both stuck in the tractor beams. I ran forward and pulled her down.

"Thanks... Jesse" Petra panted. "Gabriel's still up there!"

"Jesse! Go!" he shouted

"No!" I cried and got up, but a tentacle then tossed me and Lukas into the portal
