Knock Knock Knock
Author-chan's POV
''Door's open, you may come in,'' Amara said, still doing some paperwork to lessen the files on top of her desk. The door opened as it revealed (y/n) at the other side of it. ''Oh (y/n), what a pleasant surprise. Come and take a seat.'' (Y/n) closed the door behind her and did what she was told. She took a seat as Amara asked why she's here. ''You already know why,'' From those words, Amara nodded and sighed. She told her that she still had a lot of paperwork to do and that maybe the two of them shall talk about it in another time but it seems that you had enough of waiting so you did what you had to do.''I'm tired of waiting Amara! How long am I still gonna wait just to know that my family is alive you f*cking liar?!'' You shouted, bursting out your emotions. She looked at you with her eyes wide open that soon turned to it's normal state. You sensed that she's trying to calm herself down so that it wouldn't look like as if she was nervous, or maybe even guilty. To the fact that she's bad at acting as if she doesn't know what you're talking about. ''Wh-what do you m-mean?'' She stuttered, her body all shaky.
''Stop acting as if you know nothing you b*tch!" Now, she was frightened by your sudden outburst. ''I want to to know the full truth now Amara! Speak now!'' She looked at you then at her desk. Her head is spinning and she doesn't know what to do. If she told you, the deals off. But she can't keep the secret forever right?
You had your hand clenched into a fist and in any second now, you may probably make her look much more beautiful with those black eyes and bloody nose. In defeat, Amara sighed. She had her head down low as she spoke. ''Fine,'' She started. ''I'll tell you from the beginning,''
''Good. Make it quick, I still need to sharpen my weapons that I will use to kill you later,'' You threatened as you had your hands on your lap.
Before starting, Amara sighed one more time and told the whole story. ''So your parents died-''
''The truth Amara! The truth!''
''*sighs* Back then...''

Amara's POV
At the halls of the orphanage, I was just sweeping the floor while listening to my tunes. It was already nighttime and I was about to lock the door when knocks were heard. I opened up the door as I saw a family. The what seems to be the mother was carrying a baby in her arms. Guess they're gonna drop the baby here. The what seems to be the father took out a letter from his pocket and gave it to me. Opening it, I gasped on how large the amount of money is. ''If you take care of this baby without letting her know that we're still alive, I'll pay you that large. If you failed, deal's off,'' The man said. He let out another piece of paper and told me that almost all of the things I needed to know is already there. After giving the baby to me, off they go, leaving me with this tiny offspring. So just by taking care of this girl and letting her know that her family is already dead then I'll be able to get the money. This will just be a piece of cake...
~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~''That's all,'' Amara said. ''But how did you know that I was lying the whole time That you know your parents are still alive?'' She asked, still looking at her desk filled with papers. You just let out a chuckle and said that you are the one who broke in in her office a few days ago. From the satchel that you had brought with you, you took out the 4 things you have 'borrowed' from her office and set it in front of her (remember Chapter 30?). ''Now you know.'' You said, crossing your arms with a smirk on. ''Can you even explain to me why you have my somewhat mother's necklace?''
Once again, she sighed. And by the way, after telling you the whole story, you didn't show a single emotion, not a single one. ''I received a text from your mother that after a few years of not letting you know that they're still alive, she decided that I can sell the necklace you are wearing in a very large amount since its made of pure gold,'' You punched her table in full strength, creating a medium dent with cracks. Standing up, you glared at her with your sharp eyes and slapped her across her face.
A shocked Amara was now feeling the cheek you have slapped so hard that it left a red hand mark. Before she can even slap you, you grasped on her wrist so hard before she gets a chance to even hit you. ''You know what, let me tell you that I never even wanted you in the first place. That you are such a b*tch! I can't even believe that you are such an idiot to fall in my trap and to the fact that you are just wasting your time on thinking that you already have a person who really cares about you,''
You were stung by her painful words but girl, you can't just back down from a fight. ''Same to you to Amara,'' After saying that, she was confused that soon turned to shock. In an instant, you pushed her, letting her hit the wall and slide down. You made your way to the exit and opened up the door. ''You know what, my last words for you Amara is that...deal's off.'' You said before you even slammed the door behind you, the loud bam echoing through the halls.
As you closed the exit of the orphanage, you already knew that that just have to be your last visit in that place...

Reader-chan's POV
I was just at some smoothie shop and it's very obvious that I'm sipping into one. I'm trying to calm myself down a bit since anger is still taking over me. My mind is too busy on creating a plan on how to kill her when I needed to go home. Standing up from my seat, I continued to sip while walking to the exit. From my left, a brunette girl with blue streaks, baby blue eyes, and indigo ruffle dress with matching purse and heels was 'walking' as if she was on the red carpet. What's a rk (rich kid) doing here? Shouldn't she be at the spa or something? When my skin made contact with hers, I jumped up in shock and dropped my smoothie. What I mean by shock, I meant by electric shock. The shock hurts so much that it left a red mark on my skin. I looked at the girl who was now buying a strawberry smoothie at the counter like nothing happened. My legs stand on themselves as I went to the exit, not minding the smoothie I accidentally spilled on the floor. Why did I got shock? Maybe she has this 'invisible electric buzzer' on her skin, though it's very impossible. As I walk back home, a piece of paper flew beneath my feet. Picking it up, I unfold it and read what it said which made me shiver.
