Today's the day. It's my uncle's wedding. I know that I don't spend much time with any of them since I only see them in summer, and on occasions. My mom's family is huge that sometimes I get confused who can I trust and rely on.My uncle was in a love story for like seven years and since our nosy family didn't like his fiancee, He didn't get married until now. He's very rude to me sometimes, but to be honest, I know that he cares about me a lot, so I forgive him for that. He's getting married today, and I'm gonna miss his company even though I know I was never close to him but maybe the thought makes me miss him.. A little bit..
I noticed my mobile vibrating, so I rushed to the sofa to pick it up.
''Hello!" I began a little too excitedly.
''Anne, come down. Can you do my make-up?''
''Oh my....Well, Nichole, can you wait fifteen minutes? I'm not dressed yet.''
''Please!!" She shouted.
''Okay. Okay. Chill.'' I'm the girl who never shouts, never screams, and never cries. I'm perpetually calm and usually sitting alone with my mobile, writing songs or singing occasionally.
''Nichole, you keep nagging me all the time,'' I said as I opened the door, hung up, and rushed down to where she was, now fully clothed.
"How are you so calm when you're twenty five minutes late?'' I laughed at her exasperation and that only made her scream at me even more. ''Hurry up!''
''Not hurry potter?'' I joked, lifting a brow.
''Anne, please! Stop it!'' She begged fervently.
''Oh. Now I understand. You're doing all of this because Mason is going to the wedding, isn't it?'' I shot her a teasing smirk while she instantly blushed.
''Do you know who else is coming other than Mason?'' She asked in an equally playful tone.
''Who?'' I inquired, taking out the eye-shadow from my makeup bag, pretending like I wasn't interested.
''Mason.'' She replied quickly.
''Lol?'' was all I said.
''Haha, no. I mean the other Mason!'' She laughed.
''What?'' I yelled. ''Why is he coming? No, he's not. Please tell me he's not.''
''Yes, he is.''
''He can't!'' I hollered.
''He's our neighbor, Anne! You should be knowing this!'' She replied, moving closer to me.
''Hurry up.'' I urged her.
''So it's now hurry up? Not hurry potter?'' She giggled, mocking me.
''Well, that's not gonna work. You can't be like me my baby girl.'' I teased.
''Let's just..go!" She said, pulling her bag off the sofa.
"Wait,'' I said, crossing her. ''Where's your sister?''
''She went with mom and aunts." She replied, picking up her purse from the sofa,
As I descended, all the guys stared at me like I was a godess or something. How embarrassing!
''Looking pretty!'' Adam, my cousin, complimented, making me blush.
''Stop it!'' I said, slapping him playfully. What hurts me more is that Nichole is here too but all these guys were giving me compliments and no one bothered to look at her. I mean, why does that always happen? This was definitely not the first time. Nichole might not be pretty from outside, but on the inside, she was extremely pretty and kind. I wonder what she's thinking about right now?
