"Ashely, I really want to see you. It is so hard for me to love someone without meeting her."

"Mason I can't."

"What do you mean by you can't? Ashley I... Like you... Yes I like you!" Mason shouted.

"I like you too," I said as I calmed down. Did he just say that? He likes me? Is that real? He likes me? What? What's that? He likes Ashley, not Anne, and that's why he has been refusing to even look at the real me for a week. He likes Ashley because she is hot and because he is a player. That's what he looks for. Why does Ashley have to take everything? Mason loves her, not me. I mean the girl I chose to be the fake Ashley. I want to be with Mason. I'm starting to like him. But I shouldn't.

"Ashley?" I heard Mason yelling through the phone.

"Yeah?"

"Where did you go?"

"I was just thinking of something." I replied back.

"Me?" He teased.

"Shut up!"

"So...?"

"I dreamt of you." I starting cutting him off. "I dreamt that you came to my house in the middle of the night and you took me to a place that you said is very special to you and no one knows about this place except me and you." I told him slowly.

"I do indeed have a place that no one knows about. Even you." He said "Ashely, I am messed up. I told you lately about that girl that is with me in the company..."

"What do you want me to do now?" I asked, cutting him off, a tear escaping my eye.

"I want to see you."

"That is all what you care about? To see me and compare me with her? That's true right?" I shouted.

"Lower your voice."

"I am not your girlfriend Mason! You didn't see me. Why do you want to control me when you don't know who I am? And would you love a girl that is smaller than you ten years?" I shouted loudly. I was more messed up than him. I mean if he likes Ashley, why is he messed up with Anne? What's wrong with him, other than the obvious? "Do you really like me Mason, or are you just playing with my feelings?"

"Playing?" He asked.

"Yes, playing. I can't stand anyone playing with me again. I was so young when I got in a relationship, and I was played by a careless jerk. I always convinced myself that he loved me, but he never did. Till now I've been convincing myself until finally I assumed that it is real, and I say this to everyone, and when someone asks me about him, or why we left each other, I lie that it is because our parents didn't want us together. What do you want me to expect from you? That you will always be for me? That you will be strong to come and tell my parents that you like me? Do you want me to expect that? Tell me?" I shouted, tears streaming down my face. "I've had enough Mason!"

"Calm down, Ashely. I will never hurt someone that is weaker than me..."

"I'm not weak!" I said cutting him off.

"Ashley I want to see you!"

"This was never a good idea, not for me and not for you. You don't know what will happen if you see me."

"Why?" He asked.

"Because... I don't know. I have to go now," I said, ending the call. I grabbed a white t-shirt and a pair of skinny dark blue jeans. I combed my hair into a ponytail and I went down for a walk without makeup, without anything.

"Anne?" Someone called slowly from behind me. I turned to see Mason standing there doing nothing but staring at me.

"Yeah?"

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"Not really." I cried.

"What's wrong?" He asked, twisting my hand into his.

"I don't know. You refused to look at me all this week, why?"

"I am in love with someone that I haven't even met." He started.

"You don't have to repeat that."

"But I don't know what happens to me when I look at you. You grab my attention. Every second I am attracted to you even more than the second before it. You know-"

"I don't want to know," I said, cutting him off.

"The girl I am talking to is nice in a way that she is so cute, she listens to what I say, she does whatever I ask her to do, I feel that she is for me. I love her because I like the way she thinks. But, when I see you, I feel something I couldn't even explain to anyone."

"I don't care." I said, a tears threatening to escape my eyes. I pushed him and moved away.

"I don't want you." He said slowly. "You're like a small sister to me."

"I'm not small!" I shouted.

"To me you are, Anne. Your uncle told me you're sixteen. I am ten years older than you."

"Why do you talk to me as if I love you and I can't live without you? I don't want you. Don't ever talk to me again. Just go away!" I shouted, crying once again. He didn't say a word. Instead, he took me by my hand leaving no space between us at all.

"I wish I didn't see you."

"Pretend that you didn't!" I shouted, pushing him so that he fell on the ground. "You deserve it!" I shouted, stalking off.

"I saw you in my dream yesterday." He started, making me stop in my tracks, but I refused to look at him. "That's why I talked to you today. You know, the picture in the dream was Anne, but the character is Ashley. I am so messed up." I turned around, not knowimg what to say. I moved towards him.

"If you really love Ashley, you are going to find her as soon as possible." I said slowly.

"You know from Boudy that I don't fall in love with girls. I only play with them, but I'm a hundred percent sure that I love Ashley. I'm not a small kid anymore, I love her." He said, making me sob even more. I didn't say a word, instead, I took off running all the way to my apartment.
