There is a girl in the hallway
she hold a jar of stars
and gives them to the people
who walk with heavy hearts
the stars, they hold some sunshine
and brighten up their days
but little do they know
they're her fears all tucked away.
And I know it's crazy to feel so alone
when you're surrounded by a thousand eyes
but I do
God, I do
and I'm not really sure why.
But I'll cry into space
I'll cry out my name
I'll beg them to let me say
that I'm not who they think.
listen to me you shadows!
I'm crying for my world
to recognize my name
my name is Stargirl.
