It's a slippery slope before you fall

One you may not see at all.

It's hard to escape from inside your head

because these evils aren't under the bed.

It's a long journey back to being okay

Filled with fears and lonely days.

And it's easy to drown while out at sea

While you struggle to come up and breathe.

But listen closely to the words I say

I know it's hard to survive each day

But know the sun will always win

It will rise and try again.
