Chapter IV

CHAPTER IV: The assembly

Two days had passed and Andy wasn't even looking at me. How was it possible she was so angry at me? I tried to do all this for her, for my clan, but on the other hand I understood why she was behaving this way. She was scared of losing us, her family.

"Hey love, are you okay?"

Looking at the source of the voice, was my beautiful mate. I stood up and walked towards her. Wrapping my arms from behind her body I rested my hand on her pregnant belly, feeling a little kick, which made me smile brightly.

"Our little boy is giving you war, isn't he?"

Noticing the little pain reflected on her beautiful face, I worried a little.

"Gen are you okay? Do you want to rest?"

Closing her beautiful blue eyes she nodded, helping her to sat down on our bed I stared at her.

"I'll call Andy to be here with you until I meet all the Alphas and Betas."

While she listened she put her dirty blonde hair into a ponytail, once I finished she shook her head.

"Leave Andrea on her own, she has work to do for you before the assemble start. Doesn't she?"

"I'll ask her and if she agree, you'll let her, okay? The only person I absolutely trust like my own blood is her."

Giving me a small smile she nodded. Once kissed her in a lovely way I left the room looking for Andrea.

I went to my office where probably were Andy, Charlie and Emmett. I was right, entering I was greeted by the two guys and a silent girl.

"You look very elegant in a suit, Alpha."

Charlie commented and I looked at my Armani clothes, then back at him.

"I'm the Alpha and this is an important meeting, so I have to give a good image."

"Well, for Charlie and me was very difficult to wear a suit jacket... It's not something personal Victor but I would prefer to go in briefs instead of this."

I chuckled at his statement. My big boys, a lot of years with them and helping them to grow up without regretting anything. They were sitting on my two leather armchairs in front of my desk. My eyes switched from them to Andy who wasn't even paying attention to us and was still typing something on the laptop.

"Guys can you go and check everything to be okay. I'll be with you to welcome the firsts Alphas."

Nodding they left my piccolina and me alone. She was still in her pyjama. Zebra-like pants and a green T-shirt, her red African braids were put into a messed bun. Cool kid. Without looking at me I heard her cold voice.

"What do you want Vic?"

Vic? Okay maybe she wasn't so angry with me in the end. Sighing I rested my hands on the wooden table and stared at her.

"Andy, did you finish what I asked you to do?"

"I'm almost done, I have to write the last thing and... Done. I'm just finished."

"Okay so the last thing is to print it and give it to the guests?"

She took off her glasses, massaged her eyes and then looked at me and nodded.

"So do you mind to print it to my bedroom office? The thing is that Genevieve it's not feeling very good now so-"

Standing up she slammed the laptop screen and hurriedly went to the door.
