C H A P T E R 31: We aren't dating anymore.

"Mum I swear if you continue talking about dresses i'm going to lock myself in my room" i clearly annoyed said before eating more mashed potatoes.

"But we have to. The school summer dance it's around the corner and you have to get a dress!" My mum pouted like a little girl.

My mum has been bugging me with this since I got back from the trip. My parents already know I'm dating Ethan and they're happy with that but that made my mum more excited about the dance. She says, and I quote 'you have to look more beautiful than you already are for your boyfriend' well, sure she has a point, there but we still have time left.

"We just have a week left for that!" My mum exclaimed as if she read my thoughts. Well maybe we don't have that much time left.

"Mum, first let Ethan invite me and then we'll look for dresses" I said and my mum laughed.

"Oh my goodness that's just an excuse" she laughed.

"Mum..."

"You're right, I'm the mum here so I take the decisions. Get ready we're looking for dresses now" she said standing up and grabbing my arm.

"But I still don't finish my mashed potatoes" I pout this time.

"I'll buy you something in the shopping centre." She answered and with that closed the door leaving me alone so I could get ready. I just put on a normal white shirt with, normal skinny jeans and a flannel. I covered the scar in my wrist with waterproof makeup, just in case and it all was normal as if that cut never happened. It was unforgettable though.

I went out and my mum was already waiting for me in the living room.

To: Bae
Ethan the unexpected is about to happen...

I didn't had to wait that long to get an answer.

From: Bae
What are you gonna do? Are you okay?! Don't make anything! Do you need me to go?

Well I think he worries a lot about me. I don't blame him.

To: Bae
Geez calm down! I'm going to buy a dress haha

You scared the blood out of me! Let me guess for what... Does it have to do with the summer dance?(;

To: Bae
Yup. Mum insists...

From: Bae
I already got a beautiful date(:

To: Bae
Oh... Really?

So that means we aren't dating anymore?

From: Bae
It's you silly. Who else would I take other than my girlfriend(:

To: Bae
You scared the blood out of me! Anyways  I gtg and buy a dress bye xx

From: Bae
Can't wait to see it! Bye babe xx

My stomach couldn't help but give a thousand flips. I always feel this way when I talk to him, and mostly when he complements me.

My mum and I entered to the car and the ride until the shopping centre was basically me listening my mum talking none stop about dresses and that stuff.

It kinda annoyed me a little but I mean, I don't blame her for being excited. I never really went out, let alone go to a dance.
