His first time in a car. It was horrifying to know that his soon to be wife got killed by such a machine and by his fault. The engine needed a while before he could drive off. Esther assured him that everything would turn out just fine but Avi knew deep down that something wasn't right. He hadn't talked to anyone after tour, deleted the group chat and other social media, he wanted to stay alone because he deserved to be punished for what he had done. He missed her every day, no doubt, but he always reminded himself that he was guilty and the reason why he was left alone. He drove down the road carefully, watching how other people with families passed by and his heart shattered a little everytime he saw a child smile. He could've had something like that. He could've been the one holding his small daughter in his arms while smiling to his beautiful wife. Avi sniffed and wiped away a tear before he parked the car. The restaurant was somehow fancy but not too pricey and the band always hung out.. before that happend. Three years ago he was the only one with a girlfriend, the others envied him a little but wished him the best, knowing that he really wanted someone to love. Now he was the only single person out off all of these. He sighed and grabbed the handle of the car, opening the door. It got a little colder and darker outside since he left his house so he put on his jacket even though he was about to go in.
His hands started to get a little sweaty and his body began to shiver. Human contact. That was his problem. How was he going to face his bandmates? He took a deep breath and entered the restaurant, a tiny woman greeted him and brought him to their table. As soon as the others saw him they flashed him a smile. Scott got up immediately.

"Heey! Omg how are you?!"

Avi found himself in an embrace and he had never felt so uncomfortable before. Scott let go so the others could take a turn but their smiles faded away when they saw Avi's face.
He stood there, wrapping his arms around his own body and stared at the group. His eyes watering ever so slightly and his upper lip quivered. Esther hadn't told him that their significant others would be here to. It felt like a punch in the guts and a needle in his heart. It was like they were showing off how alone Avi was.

"Take a seat okay?"

Scott whispered encouraging him and he managed to sit down without passing out. To his left were sitting Kirstie,Jeremy,Kevin and Alyssa and to his right were Scott, Alex, Mitch and Tony. All of them were engaged but Mitch who met his boyfriend "only" a year ago.
Avi sat between the couples, playing with his fingers and hanging his head. He couldn't see them, he didn't want to see their happiness. Why was he even complaining? It was his fault after all! The couples looked at one another and started a small talk. Once in a while they tried to get Avi to speak but he would just shrug his shoulders. He didn't even feel like eating something, the numb feeling in his stomach wouldn't go away. Today was a horrible day, Avi thought to himself and actually wanted to cheer up. He smiled a little at the couples who talked about adopting or having children and he forced himself not to cry so he wouldn't ruin the meeting.
The waitress brought a few shots for all of them after they were done with dinner, leaving out Kevin,Alyssa and Avi who refused to drink and it didn't take the others long before they all got really drunk.

"Hey Aviii?"

Mitch slurred trying to hold onto Tony.

"What have you done all these years? Jerking off? Because you got more muscle in your right *hicks* arm than in your left!"

The whole group laughed at that but Avi was shocked on how Mitch could think about saying something like that. He barely even moved after the accident, refused to feel alive and when Mitch pointed out that he looked muscular Avi couldn't sort his thoughts.

"Oh I have a better one!"

Scott stood up and Avi backed away a little, afraid of the next insult which was probably going to be worse.

"Look at me I'm Avi and I can't get into a car or in contact with others because I'm a killaaa."

Another round of applause and laughs which made the situation even worse. Avi's eyes widened and without noticing he was crying soon after, rubbing his arms to calm himself down.
This isn't real. They would never say something like that! They're your friends...he repeated in his head, wanting to just get out and go home. Why did Esther do this to him?

"Awww he's crying. He's so weak no wonder why you weren't able to save her!"

Alex had gotten up and pushed Avi so hard he fell off of his chair. The people in the restaurant couldn't notice because the band got a separate room. It was Avi against his "friends".

"You don't have to be like: Omg I'm sooo lonely. It was your fault!"

Scott supported his boyfriend while the others pointed their fingers towards Avi and laughed. He couldn't take it any longer, scrambled up and ran out of the restaurant. He cried and cried until he reached his car and realized that his keys were in his jacket and that he left it inside the restaurant.
He couldn't go back now. They hated him! They were right. It was his fault, he was too weak and he didn't deserve anyone who loved him!

"Guys that was mean.."

Kirstie said and stood up to follow Avi but Jeremy held her back, saying that he didn't deserve pity. When he went to the bathroom Kirstie snuck out of the restaurant and looked for Avi, finding him sitting on the ground with his head in his hands. She walked up to him but as soon as he saw her shadow he scooted away from her holding up his hands in defense.

"No..no leave me alone! They're right! I'm a monster I killed them!"

Kirstie wanted to hug him and tell him otherwise but Avi had already gotten up and ran away from her, crying and whimpering through the night.

It keeps getting sadder and sadder.. well deal with it :D
