"Why don't you want it?! So suddenly?!" "I do..it's just.." He couldn't explain his feelings towards the situation. They had started dating only a year ago. One year.. too early to have children. Avi was supposed to go on tour next month, how was he supposed to take care of his child? Furthermore he couldn't see his baby until the tour was over. This time the band decided to tour for a year, exaggerating. "I can't be there for you..I'm on tour.." "Of course that's more important!" She started crying, locked herself in the bathroom as she sunk down on her knees. He, tried desperately to open the door, to get through her. She ignored him. Ignored the world around her, the hate she felt towards him and herself grew. Avi slid down against the locked bathroom door, head in his hands as he started to cry as well. Why was this happening right now?  He hated himself more than anything else in this entire universe. His girlfriend needed him, needed his help and support but he couldn't stop focusing on the tour. Never before did they have a fight. It broke his heart that his child would be the reason for their break up if she decided to leave him. Avi knew what that meant, what it felt like to grow up without loving parents, he was the reason his parents got divorced, the reason why hatred came into his home. His sister was planned from the beginning, they always wanted only one child, a girl, a child they would be proud of. Fate decided otherwise, of course he was the one to ruin their happy family life. To ruin their reputation. He wasn't talented in dancing and drawing, was never as beautiful as his sister and never had friends. His parents cut him out of family reunions when he was ten, told him he was disgraceful, a piece of trash, not worth the love and attention. They never told him what he had done, he just lived with the mindset of  being a failure, not a human being with feelings and thoughts. His grades crashed down at age 14. The negativity grew, strained his already damaged heart. As if his parents didn't hate him enough his voice decided to drop lower that year, sending him to hell. No one talked to him anymore, they laughed when he passed by in school and pointed with their fingers at him. At home he got beaten multiple times by his dad, potraying him as a stray dog, not more worth than dust in the wind. Avi never knew where the hatred came from. His sister was never there to help, his mother divorced from his father soon after only because of him. He told himself to never be like his parents if he should ever become a father. He didn't want that to happen to his child, he or she needed a fixed family. "Babe, open the door." The grief-strickened noises stopped, a click indicated he could come in. Hours passed, they talked about it, they cried in each other's arms and decided to keep the child, they believed that one day everything would come out just fine.

He called her every single night, telling her how much she meant to him. The group got annoyed by the cheesiness but didn't knew what the couple had been through. One month after their tour started something bad happened, she didn't answer the call. Neither her mother, nor her father had heard from Clarissa. He felt sick to his stomach, not knowing if she or his baby were safe. Mitch asked if he was alright after they had to pause their show, his face was pale, his breathing hitched due to his concern. Then...he got a phone call from her. "Avi...we..I lost it.." His world came crashing down, the ground underneath him vanished. Kevin was there to hold his limp body, which was unable to move anymore. His mind screamed for her, wanted to hold her in his arms and tell her that they would be alright when in reality they wouldn't. His silent cries alarmed the crew, the show got canceled and he shut out the world the instant he went inside his bunk. He spent the nights crying, the days faking a happy life. No one knew what had happened, how broken his heart was now..

"Rest in piece, my beautiful child."

"That's not possible.."

Avi stumbled back, gripping the railing of the stairs behind him, breathing heavily as his head started to spin. This couldn't be possible! His mind was playing games with him, telling him once again that he was crazy, isane, lunatic!

"Hey, do you need to sit down?"

Tim's fretfulness was too painful. He didn't deserve pity, what even was he supposed to deserve?! His eyes never left the picture, he saw the child with new eyes, saw her features clearer, saw more emotions in her eyes, the pain and sorrow veiled with happiness. The eyes of a scarred child, the need to be held in the arms of her father, the wish to be loved by a mother. Eight years, lacking love and care. Eight years... Avi's heart reached rock bottom. His whisper, ghostly, filled with grief. The need to tell the child...the truth.

"Ellie Grace..."
