"Tim.."

Avi closed his eyes, tears slowly rolling down his cheek as he hung his head which began to hurt because of his thoughts rushing around in his mind, never coming to a halt ever since he discovered the truth. Lifting his hands up to his face he proceeded to cover his red and puffy eyes when he felt Tim's arms wrapping around his slim frame. Letting his lover take over he buried his face into the crook of Tim's neck, gripping at his shirt firmly.

"A-all those years.. she had lied to me. She..she kept my own child from me! I-I was miserable for thinking that I had killed an unborn child. I..I.."

He couldn't form any more words without sobbing and nearly fainting by the small amount of oxygen he let into his body.

"Babe, please breathe. We can find a solution.."

"Tim.."

Taking a step back Avi created space between the two of them, now looking into his saviours eyes, his own cheeks still tear stained and reddened.

"She destroyed me. I spent a whole lot amount of time crying and hating myself. I could've taken the child out of her prison. Have you seen her face? Her eyes?"

Avi shook his head and sighed.

"Tim, she's scared. She never had the parents she deserved and even though I've been around all the time I never went to get her. Want to know why? Because I believed my daughter never existed!"

Now, the soft and crying Avi was completely gone. His hands in fists, his eyes wide and shadowed with anger.

"Clarissa.."

He gritted his teeth and began walking towards the kitchen where he took a glass and filled it with ice cold water from the fridge, hoping he could at least cool down internally.

"Avi, what happened with her is in the past now. I know she put you down and you had a hard time forgetting her but now we have to focus on the future."

Tim kept his voice low, soothening Avi by talking in a steady pace.

"If you want we can always bring her here. There's enough space to create her own room upstairs. She would be your daughter, you her legal guardian and parent. The two of you would be united and you would live as a family like you've always wanted to and you would be happy."

"And you?"

Setting down his glass Avi tilted his head a small smirk hiding at the corner of his mouth.

"Me?"

"Yes."

"What about me?"

Tim secured the towel around his waist before leaning closer to Avi in order to understand what he meant by that.

"Where do you see yourself in the plans you've just laid down for the future of my daughter and I?"

"I...don't know."

Letting out a small giggle Avi put his arms around Tim's neck. His anger completely gone, Clarissa and her actions forgotten, for now. He glanced at his current lover for a long time before answering.

"I want you in my future as well."

Widening his eyes Tim understood. He had thought about it ever since he had rescued the man from the streets but he was willing to wait for Avi, no matter how long it would take for them to be together.

"You mean..?"

"Yes. Tim, I want to marry you. I love you and if Ellie-Grace should live with us then she should see you as her father as well.

Not answering Tim pulled Avi closer to him until they found themselves in a kiss. A kiss which sealed the plans for the future. This was not the usual proposal neither Tim nor Avi had expected but it was the one which would form their future their lives including a beautiful little girl.
Everything would change! She would be free and could finally leave the excuse of a home. Avi could finally leave his past behind and begin from annew. And Tim would be with the man he truly loved while caring for the friend he had made while photographing the park, Ellie-Grace.
Everything made sense now! There was a reason why it didn't work out with Clarissa, why Tim was willing to save Avi from the streets, why he kept the picture of the girl hanging on the wall in the hallway. It all came together as a complete puzzle.
Pulling apart Tim caressed Avi's face and pecked his lips once more.

"Tomorrow we will go and get her and then we will plan our wedding, my love."
