Order empire had declared war on the rebel empires, they had insufficient supplies and weapons. The king of order, 'King Arthur' is walking around his tent, late at night, thinking about the war.
Arthur's POV.
'What am I going to do.' I wondered to myself.
"We had insufficient man, supplies and weapons. The battle will be over even before it started."
"Sir, report on the battlefield." A club man entered the tent.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Reports of archidon spies are in the area sir." The soldier replied.
I cursed under my breath. "Gather a few men and wipe out the enemies in the area, we cannot let the intel leak to our enemies, GO!" I commanded.
"Yes sir!" The soldier replied and marched out of the tent.
Meanwhile, at the soldiers' campsite.
A few men were chatting happily around a camp fire saying jokes and singing songs.
"Men! I need all of you to get ready your weapons and gather in front of the campsite in 5 minutes time, dismissed!" A solider shouted.
"So its finally time huh?" A soldier said.
"Yep." Another replied.
"Kim!" A soldier shouted.
"What is it Mark, I was about to get my weapon." Kim said.
"Yes I know but are you sure you wanted to go to the frontlines? You still had a mother to take care of y'know." Mark said.
Kim sighed, "I know, that's why I have no intention of dying." Kim said it with a smile.
Mark was shocked at first but smiled back.
5 minutes later, Kim's POV.
I gathered with my mates in front of the campsite. We were excited to go to the frontlines (which is weird, we never went to war before).
Our leader came up and said :" Soldiers, this may be the first and last time on the battlefield, do not be afraid. Our enemies are the archidons, they are professional at long range but weak in close combat. So be out of sight when we are far. Be stealthy and do not make a sound.I bit you all good luck."
After the briefing, we marched into the forest, into enemy territory.
"Are our clubs even going to work?" Mark asked me.
"Maybe, if we get into contact." I replied.
Mark smirked and pat me on the shoulder.
"Report, enemies up in front. They seem to be moving sir." A member from the scout squad said.
"We have to catch up to them before they leave the country boundary, or else it's all over." Our leader said.
"Quickly!" Mark said and we all ran.
"All right, just a little furth-." The scout soldier was cut off with an arrow struck to his heart.
"It's the enemy! Hide!" I shouted we all hid in the cover of the trees.
Arrows were shooting from all directions. Sounds of bodies falling to the floor are heard. Mark and I were hiding behind a huge tree.
"What are we going to do?" He asked.
"I will distract them, you will sneak up behind them and kill them!" I said.
"Are you crazy?! That's suicide!" Mark shouted.
"What other choice do we have Mark!?" I shouted back.
"If I die, tell my mother I am sorry." I rushed out after I said that while I hear mark shouting at me.
I ran pass the forest and tried to take cover in the trees. Mark was still hiding behind the same tree not moving.
I cursed, 'That idiot is not doing what I told him!' I thought.
I gathered all my courage and ran out towards the archidons like a berserker. Somehow manage to pin one down. I struggled but finally killed him. When I killed him, the other archidons were shocked and took aim at me. When I thought I was doomed, Mark came charging and killed the archidon that was taking aim at me.
Out of POV.
After seeing the bravery and courage the 2 soldiers performed, the remaining club men rose and charged at their enemies without fear. The archidons were shocked and do not have enough time to reload their arrows. The order empire almost claim their first victory when suddenly...
"Kim!!!" Mark shouted.
Kim was taken as hostage by an archidon on a cliff, threatening to kill him if the soldiers came close.
"Leave me! I would rather die than see my comrades suffer."
Kim shouted and then turn around, pushed the archidon and himself off the cliff.
"KIM!!!!!!" His comrades shouted.
