28th January 1074, 10.56pm
The battle rages on. Chaos soldiers are battling Lucifer's undead army in the front gate. Elizabeth and Ace are looking for the rest of recon team. Mark and Grace just broke out of their cell and are finding Kim. Kim is still being tortured by Bram.
Front gates
"What are these things?" A chaos soldier asked in fear.
"RUN! WE ARE NO MAT-" Another soldier was cut off by a sword that decapitated him.
The Chaos soldiers soon lost morale and broke, they routed and ran away with fear.
"That was easy, I don't even need to get my hands bloody." Lucifer said as he stayed behind his army.
Meanwhile with Mark and Grace
"Hey, what's with all of the ruckus? It sounds like a battle outside." Mark asked.
"It may be a raiding force from the Archidons." The blond girl replied with her eyes lid up, hoping that her allies have come save to them.
"Let's go! Kim must be over there!" Mark exclaimed while pointing at a doorway lined with blood.
"Shhhh! Quiet! Do you have a death wish?" Grace scolded.
"Pffft. Whatever, there's no guards or soldiers here anyway." Mark said with a smirk.
Grace rolled her eyes. Mark then opened the door.
"What the hell?" Mark said in shock.
With Ace and Elizabeth, 11.13pm
"They must be close." Ace said as he inspect the tree houses of the town.
"Yeah, this is the last place we haven't checked." The hazelnut haired girl replied.
They checked everywhere and they left only the last district at the centre of the town.
"Over there!" Ace shouted and pointed at a house.
"Huh? Isn't that just another house?" Elizabeth said.
Ace rolled his eyes.
"No. Not that house, the one behind." Ace replied in an annoyed tone.
Elizabeth looked closely and realised what it is. That building is labelled, 'Town Jail'.
"Oh, why didn't we thought of that place just now?" Elizabeth mumbled.
"You know I can hear you right?" Ace said.
Elizabeth didn't answer his question.
"Anyway, let's go." Ace said and Elizabeth nodded.
With Kim, 11.25pm
"Just kill me." Kim said in pain while he endured another whip.
"Shut up! Tell me now! Why are you here?!" Bram demanded.
"Sir! We must evacuate at once! The undead army is upon us!" A soldier barged in and reported.
"Tsk. Can't you hold off for a little longer?!" Bram shouted and slapped the soldier's cheek.
The soldier's head twisted and slammed into the wall, he died instantly.
"You bastard. You would actually kill your own men." Kim said.
"Of course! These men are just pawns. They are not even bugs in my eyes." Bram stated.
"You piece of shit. I'll kill you!" Kim shouted and struggled against the chain that held him against a wall.
