"Ugh, where am I?" Kim grumbled and got up.
"Oww, oh I got shot by a rebel archidon. Man, it still hurts. Anyway, where am I?" He asked himself. He tried to get up when he noticed a hazelnut coloured haired girl next to him.
"Woah, Elizabeth. I didn't even notice you." Kim exclaimed.
"Umm, sorry leader. It is because of me you..." Elizabeth said in an apologetic tone.
"Nah, it's fine. It is always the leader's job to make sure that his teammates are safe right?" Kim said with a bright smile.
"But, it's because of me you-" Elizabeth was cut off when Kim suddenly pat her on the head.
"Like I said, it's okay." Kim assured Elizabeth.
Elizabeth blushed and could felt her cheeks burning with embarrassment.
"Anyway, are we in Timber Town?" Kim asked and placed his hand away.
"Yes, we are in Timber Town. Mark carried you to a local doctor and patched you up." Elizabeth said.
"So where are Ace and Mar-" Kim was cut off when Mark and Ace barged into the room.
"Good news Kim! We have talked to the town elder and got permission to enter the archidon territory." Mark exclaimed.
"Wow, that was fast, good work Mark and Ace." Kim said.
"Hmph, even though I did all the talking. You on the other hand was shaking like a coward when the archidons aimed their arrows on us." Ace boasted.
"Shut up!" Mark shouted.
"What?! You guys almost got killed?! How could you guys be so reckless!" Kim scolded them.
"Says the one who blocked an arrow to save a girl's life." Mark grumbled.
"Shut up! I only did that on reflex to save someone!" Kim returned the argument.
Elizabeth blushed when Mark reminded her of Kim saving her.
"Oh right, the elder even let one of the best soldiers in the town to escort us to Aoks City. The soldier meet us tomorrow after you have rested." Ace said.
"Wow, really? I have to go thank the elder later." Kim said.
Kim tried to get out of bed but instead a stinging pain was felt on his right shoulder.
"Ugh!" Kim exclaimed in pain.
"Be careful Kim! You reckless man. You should rest more, your body hasn't fully healed yet." Mark said while supporting Kim.
"This is nothing, I have to give my thanks to the town elder. Give me my armor and club. You all will follow me together to give our thanks." Kim commanded.
"Ehh. But we just came from there, it will be awkward if we went there again." Mark complained.
"Mark don't be such a pussy, just deal with it. I'm going to remember?" Ace said in annoyance.
15 minutes later, outside the town hall.
"Woah, this is huge." Kim said.
When they were about to enter, the two guards stopped them again.
"Are you the four saviours of our town?" The guard asked.
"Yeah, we just came to give Elder Kochisuke our thanks." Kim answered.
"You are free to enter." The soldier said and opened the huge doors.
"Welcome, the leader of the recon team of the order empire, Kim." Kochisuke said.
"You have my gratitude Elder Kochisuke." Kim replied.
"How are your wounds?" Kochisuke asked.
"Their fine now, thanks to the doctor I can at least walk around freely. Anyway, I have came to thank you once again for your kindness of letting us pass through the archidon territory to Aoks City with an escort." Kim said while bowing down.
"No matter. I would also like this war to stop soon." Kochisuke said.
"Now we would like take our leave, I hope that we will meet once again." Kim said.
"Likewise, I hope that we will meet again. I would hope for this war to end. Kochisuke replied.
And so, the recon team walked out of the town hall and proceeded to their hostel to rest for the day.
The next day, at the town gates
"Alright let's hit the road, now where is the soldier that will be escorting us?" Kim asked.
"I don't know maybe he's late." Mark replied.
"Ehh." A voice behind them said.
The recon team looked behind and saw a blond women wearing an archidon helmet.
"Ehh, Grace? Are you our escort?" Kim asked in shock.
"EHHHHH" Grace exclaimed.
