Kim's POV
Together with recon team, we charged towards the enemies without fear. The marauders were stunned and do not have time to react. I was smashing them with my club with no hesitation. This is war after all, there should be no hesitation and no mercy towards the enemy. If I were to show any signs of weakness, the enemy might know and use it to their advantage. But actually, the marauders are really weak... They looked poorly trained and did not seemed as a treat.
Out of POV
"Who the hell are these guys?!" One marauder shouted.
"I can't even touch-" another marauder was cut off when ace decapitated him.
"That's a sword, he must be from the swordwrath!" One of them shouted.
"The 3 others are holding clubs! They are either rebels like us or from the order empire!" He shouted.
Screams of marauders were heard everywhere. The recon team showed no mercy and killed most of the marauders.
"Hey, one of them is a girl! Be careful not to scar her face. She might be fun after we finished off her-" the marauder was cut off when elizabeth smashed his head flat to the ground.
"You bitch! Kill her, we will rape her dead body if it comes down to it!" then, the marauders charged at her from all directions.
Elizabeth is holding them back just fine but a rogue archidon took aim for her and shot an arrow towards her. Kim saw this and took the arrow to protect Elizabeth.
"Damn it!" Kim exclaimed in pain.
"Leader!" Elizabeth exclaimed.
"That's their leader! Kill him and the other 3 will lose their will to fight!" shouted the marauders.
"You bastards!" Mark yelled and became a berserker, killing and smashing marauders to make a path towards Kim.
"Curses!" Ace shouted and helped mark to make a path towards their leader.
"Damn it, retreat!" one of the marauders shouted.
The marauders head his advice retreated into the forests.
"Leader! Leader! Hang in there!" Elizabeth shouted.
"Don't worry about kim, he's a tough son of a bitch. He survived a 10 foot drop from a cliff. He should be able to hang in there." Mark assured Elizabeth.
"Let's get inside, I'm sick of seeing dead bodies everywhere." Ace said.
10 minutes later
"Whoa, this is awesome." Mark exclaimed while looking at the tree houses the archidons made.
They had just left Kim in the hands of a doctor and started to explore Timber Town.
"How do you have the mood for a tour?" ace asked mark.
"Come on man, where's your sense of adventure?" mark replied.
"You were struggling on the way here dimbwit." ace said.
"Shut up." Mark returned the insult.
"So, elizabeth is still with kim?" ace asked.
"Yea, it seems that she felt indebted towards kim." Mark answered.
"How you so cheerful even when your best friend almost died?" ace asked mark.
"Well, I have met kim as far as I can remember. He has always been hasty and reckless, if it wasn't for me he would have died a long ago. He just seems to survive the impossible. I have always followed him as a promise from his mother. In fact, it was because of him I joined the army." mark replied.
"Wow, he was with you through childhood?" ace said.
"Haha, yea he was-" Mark was cut off when an archidon soldier came up to them.
"You both are the 2 of the 4 saviours of our town right?" the soldier asked.
"Umm yes, is there something you need?" Mark asked him.
"Yes, the town elder would like to meet you and your friends." the soldier said.
