4th February 1074, 9.45pm
Dusk fell, the Order Empire has started mobilising. The Archidons are preparing for an another Swordwrath offensive. Civilians in the city are afraid, afraid to die. Soldiers have low morale, holding for another siege will be almost impossible. Another 2 days till the Order Empire reaches Aoks City. The Archidons prayed for safety. Recon team have completed their mission and now helping the Archidons to hold against the savage Swordwrath.
"Urgh. Can't we just rest for a while?" Mark grumbled.
"Come on lazy imbecile. We have work to do." Grace scoffed.
Recon team is currently going to the barracks make a speech to the soldiers of the Archidons, hopefully raise their morale.
"Man, you feel nervous?" Kim asked Ace.
"N-no. Wh-why would I be nerv-nervous?" Ace stammered, obviously lying.
"Come on Ace! No time for chickening out right?" Mark exclaimed and slapped Ace in the back.
"YOU PIECE OF CRAP!" Ace shouted and chased after Mark.
"Guys! Really? Can you stop?" Elizabeth said, annoyed.
The two boys calmed down glared at each other.
"Okay, there's the podium. I will try to get attention from the soldiers, you guys prepare your speech. Best of luck." Grace said and dashed off.
"Great. Alright, who volunteers to make the speech?" Kim asked.
Silence... No one wants to do it.
"Ace, how about you go?" Mark asked.
"HUH? How about you go idiot." Ace replied with an insult.
"Hey! I'm just not good at speaking to a large group of people!" Mark scowled.
Elizabeth just kept silent, letting her idiotic teammates to fight while Kim sighed and face-palmed.
"Alright, I'll do it. But you guys owe me a meal alright?" Kim said.
Ace, Mark and Elizabeth nodded swiftly.
'Why must I always do this?' Kim thought to himself.
As Grace got more and more attention from the soldiers, Kim is getting more nervous.
'Come on! You spoke to their queen before! Why are you getting worked up?' Kim thought.
Finally, Grace got all of their attention and all of the soldiers present in the barracks stared at Kim.
"Go-good evening guys!" Kim exclaimed in an awkward tone.
"Dude, seriously?" Ace whispered.
"Shut up! As if you can do better." Kim returned the insult.
Kim then regained his composure and took a deep breath.
"Ahem. Sorry about that. Let me introduce myself. I am Kim Acker, one of the soldiers in the Order Empire. I am here to tell you, the Order Empire is here to help! We are mobilising our troops to help support the siege! We just need to hang on till tomorrow morning." Kim announced.
Although it is good news that someone is helping them, the Archidon soldiers still had poor morale, not even happy about the news. They are all looking down, probably thinking how hopeless they are, to accept help from a weaker faction then them.
"Why are you looking hopeless? Answer me! Why are you looking hopeless?!" Kim shouted and the Archidon soldiers looked up at him.
"Precisely at 2 days, the Swordwrath will be broken with your unstoppable charge with your bows and arrows! Honor your capital, Aoks city! Soldiers! The time is here, honor your homeland. We shall fight to the end and shall never surrender! Don't think about your lives which no longer exist... Forward to glory! Let your arrows blot out the sun once agian!" Kim shouted at the top of his lungs. The Archidon soldiers were stunned but in their eyes, there was fire, burning with passion. The Archidons then shouted and cheered.
"Those that want to live to their last, shout louder!" Kim exclaimed again.
Another round of cheers shook the ground. The soldiers regained their morale and are eager to fight and destroy the Swordwrath.
"Phew." Kim sighed.
"Wow. That was amazing." Ace complimented.
"Yeah! I could just attack the Swordwrath now after hearing that speech!" Mark exclaimed and continuously punched the air.
"Alright, as we promised. We owe you a meal." Elizabeth answered with a smile.
"Come with me, I know the best place in town." Grace suddenly appeared and replied.
"WOAH! You surprised me!" Mark screamed and jumped.
The group laugh and followed Grace to a tavern.
"Order anything you want Kim, it's our treat." Mark said.
"Oh yeah! I'll have this and this and this and this and this and this and this and this and this and this and this and th-" Kim was interrupted by Ace's shouting at him.
"HEY! DON'T GO OVERBOARD!" He shouted.
"Chill, it is only a joke. I'll have this, for real." Kim laughed.
Meanwhile, in the Swordwrath camp
Swordwrath soldiers have high morale, they are confident on winning this siege and take all the spoils of war.
"Let's take their city and rob their riches!" One soldier exclaimed.
"Yes! And take their women as well!" Another soldier shouted.
They are having so much fun discussing about the things they're going to do but did not realise that the Order Empire reinforcements are on their way. Until...
"Lord Siegfried, I have an urgent report." A soldier said to a man with pure white hair and has azure blue eyes.
"What is it?" The man asked.
"Scouts have reported that large Order Empire army is on the way to Aoks City, probably to reinforce it. They will reach the city in about 2 days time." The soldier replied.
"Interesting. Well then we shall attack on the day after tomorrow. Let our men rest up for a while. We shall not let the Order Empire help the Archidons!" Siegfried commanded.
"Yes sir!" The soldier answered and rushed to do his commands.
"The Order Empire huh? I wonder if I will get to see 'him' again. My little poor brother." Siegfried said.
