19th February 1074, 3.26pm
The time is here, companies of Archidons and Club men are forming up for their biggest assault yet. About 560,000 brave men are ready to storm out and break the stalemate between the Swordwrath and the Allies. The Swordwrath are aware of this attack thanks to their intelligence and are getting ready to defend with their lives. Little did they know, Operation Smokescreen is also underway. Along side recon team, 9 other teams will also take part in the operation. Once they managed to sneak past the front line while the main battle is taking place, they will then carry out their mission to assassinate all commanders and destroy their supplies. After that, they will then fire an signal arrow so that their troops will get notified and do a final push to seal the deal. This mission is extremely important and risky as victory will bring the Swordwrath to their knees but defeat will meant that the troops that were sacrificed will be for nothing.
"Men! Hurry up, form up!" An officer shouted and is waiting for his company of Archidons to form up.
The front line campsite is very messy. Soldiers are seen hurrying to get ready, rushing in and out of the armory to collect their weapons. Though the Order Empire and Archidons have forged an alliance, the soldiers are still not used to working together with their past enemies. It is not uncommon for soldiers to be arguing with each other due to their different factions.
"You Order Empire scumbags! Go back home, you all are useless!" An Archidon soldier shouted and pushed an Order Empire soldier to the ground.
At that moment, a riot almost broke out between the Order Empire and Archidons when two officers came and stopped the fight.
"You idiots! We are allies! Do not kill yourselves before the enemies attack!" An officer scolded.
At a distance, Kim and Mark watched the conflict.
"Wow, this is crazy. A riot right before a battle?" Mark said while adjusting his armor.
"Yeah, things may be tense at first. But once they are out on the battlefield, they will make bonds and be friends." Kim said with a smile.
"You are just as optimistic as ever." Mark joked.
"Shut up, let's go to our form up point. We will be late." Kim said.
4.26pm, Form up point for recon team
The assault is already underway. Order Empire troops rushed forward first while the Archidons fire as many arrows as humanly possible. Recon team have not charged out yet and is currently waiting for their signal to sneak past the enemy.
"Man, I'm feeling nervous." Mark whimpered like a dog.
"You will get used to it, it is the front lines alright." Grace said.
