Afters school I waited for Gemma to pick me up. Instead, I found Juice waiting for me in the front. He was leaning against his Harley with his arms crossed and his sunglasses shielding his eyes. He told me that Gemma was at the hospital with Jax because his son is able to come home today.
After Juice dropped me off at Finn and Becky's place I offered him to come inside. I knew that right after school, Finn heads to work and that Becky is helping with Club business. "Should I bring anything for the celebration tonight?"
He shrugged, "If you want."
"Are you bringing something?"
Juice shook his head, "Nah, I'm not gonna be able to make it. I have a couple things to take care of."
I took a seat beside him and handed him a beer. "Like what?"
"Didn't they already tell you about not asking questions?"
"Oh right... Sorry. I didn't mean to-"
He chuckled, "It's okay. I have to drive down to Huntington Beach to check on a warehouse we got up there. Make sure everything is in order for our next shipment. Nothing major."
I zoned out for a moment. Huntington Beach is my hometown. The place I tried so hard to get away from. Even though I hated my life there, I missed my friends. I just wanted to see them. "Can I ask you something?" Juice took a swig of his beer then nodded. "Can I go?"
He nearly choked on his drink, "Why? It could be dangerous."
"You just said its nothing major."
"Yeah, nothing major for me. It could be dangerous for you though." he tried explaining but I didn't want to listen.
"Please." I begged, "There's people there that I haven't talked to in over 5 months. I miss them a lot. I need to let them know I'm OK."
Juice pondered for a second. I can tell by his lip biting that he wasn't sure about what to do. "I could get in trouble with the guys for bringing you with me. If something happens to you it's my fault."
Ugh, time for plan B. I covered my face with my hands, forcing myself to cry. To my surprise, it worked. Tears started streaming fast down my face. I rested my head on my arms that were crossed on the table top. "It's okay. I understand."
Juice awkwardly placed his hand on my back, "Oh jeez. Uhhh, Bayley don't cry. I uhhh, OK fine! You can come with me." I quickly picked my head up, "But just know that-"
I jumped up and wrapped my arms around Juice's neck, squeezing him tightly. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you a million times!" I wiped my forced tears away. "I owe you big time." getting lost in my excitement I kissed him on the cheek.
He gave me a coy smirk. Before I could fully comprehend what I just did, Juice snaked his arms around my waist and pulled me closer. I gasped before he crashed his lips against mine. He was so strong to where I couldn't pull away. Well, if I actually wanted to. By the way he kissed and held me, I could tell he was very experienced.
We backed up against the rim of the rectangular table. Juice leaned forward slightly, reaching behind me, swiping off a couple of items that
were on the table. I heard them bounce off the floor and I cracked my eyes open as Juice was still kissing me, attempting to lean me back onto the table.Only the memory of one person ran laps in my head. Jimmy. He was the only one I loved. The only one I kissed. The only one I gave myself up to. That was special to me. I couldn't tarnish that by doing those things with some biker that I don't even care about.
