Bayley came to school, this time not having Rei with her because Becky volunteered to babysit again. The one thing she was looking forward to was seeing Finn again. He was such a nice guy but she felt super bad about lying about her life.

"Hey, Finn." she waved.

"Hi." he greeted with a charming smile. "I didn't know you knew my sister. She told me she was going to babysit Rei."

Hopefully that's all she said. "Yeah, she's really... Nice."

He laughed, "I could think of hundreds of words to describe Becky, but nice would not be one of them. She has our dads attitude."

"Now I'm terrified to meet your dad." she joked.

"Becky told me you work at Teller-Morrow autoshop. Our dad works there. I'm pretty sure you'll meet him sooner or later. His names Chibs."

"Chibs? That's an interesting name."

He nodded, "It's a nickname. His real names Filip."

"Why does he have a nickname?" I asked.

Finn stared at her with a shocked gaze. "You don't know?" She raised her eyebrow. "A bunch of-"

"Alright, everybody quiet and let's get to business." Mr.Layfield began class before Finn could finish what he was saying.

Damn, what the hell is up with this town? Bayley thought to herself.

-Finn's POV-

I came home at around 8:30pm because I'm a clerk at the local food market. I hate walking home from work. Charming may seem like a safe town to the residents, but to the in crowd, we all know what really goes on.

My dad Chibs is a member of SAMCRO. A well respected member I might add. I'll be lying if I said that I don't worry about the old man, even though I hate everything that he does.

I live with my big sister, Becky. My dad is never home and we get stuck paying the bills, so it's technically our house. Our father spends about 99% of his time at The Club House and rarely ever drops by to see how we're doing. It's rare if he'll even stay for dinner.

He usually doesn't because he's filled up on cigarettes, beer, and pussy.

But today is different. When I got home my dad was on the recliner with a beer bottle in his hand and a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, resting inbetween his salt and pepper facial hair.

"Finny-boy!" he called me over. "How was school and work?"

I set my bag down beside the front door. I laid on the couch that was adjacent from where he was sitting. I closed my eyes and tried taking a nap. Sometimes I just don't want to talk to the man. He seems to care more about The Club than his own children.

He sighed with a bit of hurt in his voice. I know it may seem like I'm being harsh but he doesn't deserve to be acknowledged. At least not right now.

"I know you're mad at me, Finny. But this is something you just need to get used to." he told me with his mixed Irish and Scottish accent.

"You staying for dinner?"

"Do you want me to stay?" he asked.

I shrugged uncaringly. "You're gonna do whatever you want, aren't you?"

He got up from his chair and put his black work boots back on. He walked to the front door and opened it without even sharing a passing glance. "If you think I love The Club more than you and Becky... You're wrong."

"I'm having trouble believing that." I said coldly.

Before my dad was about to leave, Becky intervened. "Nobody is going anywhere. I already made dinner and we're going to eat together as a family." she demanded.

Becky felt the same way I did about our dad. Only difference was that she was willing to forgive him for always leaving us to fend for ourselves. Me, sometimes I just wanted him out of my life.

The Club can get him killed. I'm sick and tired of carrying this anxiety that Jax will give me the call that my father has been shot to death. If I cut all connections with him then... Then I wouldn't know when/if he died.

We all gathered around the dinner table. Becky served us and my dad pulled 3 cold ones from the fridge. Becky was of age so she could legally drink. I was 17. My dad gave me my first beer when I was 14.

He really didn't care if we broke the law. Just as long as we didn't get caught. Plus, if we did get caught, he could get the Chief of Police, Wayne Unser, to pull a few strings to get us out.

Charming, California was a corrupt place. You couldn't even fully trust the police.

I wish SAMCRO would shrivel and burn into ash. It took my father and my sister. She's the girlfriend of the Prospect, Half-Sack. Making her his Ol' Lady.

By association she is in some way part of the club. Sometimes they have her doing gun runs with Half-Sack. I fear for her life too. If Half-Sack really loved her as much as he said he did, he'd let her go so she'd be out of harms way.

Knowing Bayley works around a bunch of criminals worries me. I don't want her to get caught up in the madness. I can't have that.

I looked up from my plate to find my father and sister staring at me. I must of blanked out. "What?"

"You know that Bayley girl?" my father asked.

"She's in one of my classes." I answered.

"Do you like her?" Becky smirked. She knew I hated when she would call me out on things.

"No!" I lied, "She's just a friend."

"That's what they all say." my father laughed, taking a swig of his beer. "I've seen her at the shop. She seems sweet. A little too sweet."

"Don't forget oblivious." Becky added.

"Shut up." I scoffed.

"It's true! She actually believes that the guys are an actual MC* and nothing more. Hell, her brother is one of us and she hasn't even caught on to that." as soon as that last sentence escaped her lips, she slapped her hand over her mouth.

My dad and I leaned in. "Her brothers one of us?" dad asked. "Who is it?"

"Nobody." she shook her head, going back to her dinner plate. "Forget I said that."

Chibs slammed his hand against the table making Becky jump in a fright. "There are no secrets between us. Now tell the truth."

Becky rubbed the back of her neck and squeezed her lips closer together. "PrOS..cT" she mumbled quietly.

"Who?"

"The Prospect!" she yelled.

My dad and I stared at each other and back at Becky. "How do you know?" I asked.

"I went to his place and I saw her. I thought he was cheating on me but she said that he's her brother. And that baby that I've been taking care of isn't her sister."

I leaned back in my chair, "No..."

She nodded. "Yeah, it's Bayley's baby. That's all I know."

Chibs ran his hand over his beard, "There has to be more to it than that." he paused for a second. "I'm going to have a talk with him."

Becky nearly fell out of her seat, "No! I promised I wouldn't tell anybody."

"He won't know you told us." he confirmed.

Bayley's been lying about her life this whole time... Why?
