Closed Doors

About a week has gone by and Bayley has been able to keep her cool around the club. Everything has gone back to normal. Or at least that's what it looked like.

Bayley was in the garage working on Unser's old motorcycle that looked like a fossil. "When was the last time you rode this thing?"

Unser looked at her, "I think I had hair."

Bayley chucked, "It's gonna take me a while to get this thing running. Usually Juice gives me a hand with this stuff but he hasn't been here all week."

"Juice always disappears and suddenly shows up. You get used to it." Unser looked around to make sure nobody was listening. "Listen, if there's anything bothering you about the Club, you can come to me. I can help you deal with these things."

"I'm not so sure if trusting a crooked cop is such a good idea." she joked. They both laughed. "But thanks, Unser. I'll keep that in mind."

"Anytime, Bayley." Unser walked into the Club houses chapel to find Clay sitting there at the head of the table.

"Did she say anything?"

Unser sighed, taking a seat. "No. What's going on here, Clay? Does this girl know something she's not supposed to or what?"

"It doesn't matter." He got up from his chair and walked to the shut doors. "Thanks Unser."

He followed behind the clubs president. "Clay, it's really hard for me to help when you leave me in the dark like this."

Clay tilted his head back. Sometimes he hated asking for Unser's help because he always wanted to know every little detail. That's what you get for associating with a cop. "It's about this situation that the club got into almost 2 years ago."

"What situation?"

"It was a mistake. I didn't think it would come back around to bite us in the ass."

"What happened, Clay?"

The Pres told Unser everything. "It was my call. One of our other charters kept an eye on Trigger and they said he and his son were close." He explained. "I figured that if we got the kid and roughed him up a bit that he'd give up his step-dad. He wasn't cooperating so Jax shot him. We didn't know that his son, Jimmy, had nothing to do with the AB. When we killed him we just figured that it was one less nazi son of a bitch we had to deal with."

"Christ..."

"We took a vote to see if we should tell Bayley the truth. It was nearly down the middle."

"You're concerned that someone will still tell her and she'd do something stupid to get the club into trouble."

"Exactly. I was mainly worried about Juice because he's got a thing for Bayley. Jax told him to take a break to clear his head. I thought it was a bad idea incase he tried to follow Bayley to HB when she went to visit Jimmy's grave. Turned out he went to LA to see his ex."

"AJ does always talk since into him."

"Yeah, that girls got a tongue on her." He chuckled.

Unser squinted at him, "I feel like there's more behind that but I'm not going to ask. So what are you going to do?"

"She does seem to not know anything and if the guys wanted to tell her they would have by now." Clay looked out the window to see Bayley fixing up one of the broken down cars. "Keeping her close and happy is the best option for now."

"I have to get back to the station. I'll give you an update if we find anything out about Donna's murder." Unser opened the door. The moment he stepped out he slipped and fell flat on his back. He groaned, "ohhhhh my back!"

"Get your ass up." Clay nudged him with his foot." He noticed the floor was wet. Off in the corner of the den was Kip with a mop and bucket. "Sack! Putting a wet floor sign would have been nice."

Kip tried holding back his laugh, "Sorry Clay. Won't happen again."

"Lucky it wasn't me or you would have never gotten that top rocker."

Unser and Clay walked out of the club house. Kip kept a perky smile on his face until they were both out of sight. His shoulders slumped down and his smile dropped. The mop dropped onto the floor and he leaned against the pool table.

There was a roar of a motorcycle engine outside. Kip looked out the window to see Juice pulling up with a girl riding with him.

After putting a sign that the floor was wet, he went outside and walked into the garage where his sister was. She was staring at what was going on in the lot. "Hey sis."

She glanced over then turned her attention back on Juice. "Is that girl just a croweater or someone he picked up?"

Kip shrugged. "Not sure. I've never met her. She's kinda cute though." It was obvious that Bayley was sort of bothered by this.

She took off her grey collared work shirt and tied it around her waist, leaving her black, fitted tank top that showed off her curves and mostly her boobs which were a good size. Bayley let her hair down and fluffed it a bit.

"What are you doing?" Kip chuckled.

"It's hot out here."

"Aren't you dating Finn?"

"Yeah, your point?"

"I know you're trying to impress Juice."

Bayley rolled her eyes while scoffing. "And why would I be doing that?"

Kip shook his head, "You've changed a lot, sis."

"Sword goes both ways." She smirked. Juice locked eyes with Bayley. She could tell that he was looking her up and down even though he had his shades on. He snapped out of it when AJ started talking to him.

AJ started skipping over to them as Juice slowly followed behind her. "Looks like you're going to make a new friend." Kip walked around Bayley, "or enemy." He chuckled, going back into the club house.

Hm, we'll see.
