"I know you like me," he smirks. "There's no denying it, Dani." He takes a step closer to me with every word he says.

"Phfft! Yeah right," I roll my eyes, ignoring the fact that my body feels all hot and there's a lump the size of a big rock in my throat, not to mention how my breath hitches as he leans closer to me.

"Do all you want, babe, but I know you want me," he says, gesturing to his body. "Every girl does."

He leans in more closer and now I can feel his minty breath on my face.

"I always get what I want, Dani. And I want you. Even the most stubborn of girls fell for me."

"I'm not most girls, Ray." I try my best not to sound nervous.

Did I just say something as cheesy as that?

"I know that. And that is what makes me want you more. Mark my words, Dani. You'll soon be head over heels for me, just like all the other girls." He smirks and turns on his heels and walks away.

Before you start reading this book, I want to let it out in the open that I was 11-12 years old when I wrote this book, and as such it is full of cliches and cringiness, and is well, childish. It definitely has some problematic areas too and lots of loopholes. I've edited some parts but I still don't think it overrides the mentioned tags.
