Chapter Two - First Date Ever?!

RRRINGGG!!!

My eyes immediately snap open. Huh? I saw both boys and girls getting out of the class. What? I was just on a date with a hot knight in shining armour who saved me from a ruthless king and now, I'm in a class sitting with my arms folded over the desk?

"Seriously? What the hell?" I mutter.

"Morning, sunshine!" Josh, who was in my class too chirped. "You were sleeping really nicely during class, Dani. You're lucky the teacher didn't catch you."

I blinked. So I was sleeping and "that" was just a dream? Duh. Of course! How stupid can you get, Dani? Though I just wish the dream was real and that this was the dream. But hey, on the bright side, at least I got a date with Josh! I smile at Josh who smiles back at me.

I groan as I get up from my chair and head to my next class, Chemistry. I spot a seat in the back and move my legs there and get seated.

"Like sitting in the back?" I turn to face Ray, who is (un)fortunately, sitting next to me. "Or is it just me?" He smirks as I roll my eyes.

"Dude, get over yourself!" I exclaim. "You're too self obsessed."

"Just for you, sweetie." Wow! A smooth talker, huh?

Before I can reply, the teacher walks in and starts the class. Ray kept glancing at me from time to time, with a smirk and a glint in his eyes. Boy, this was going to be a long class!

Finally the class ends and as I get up to leave, Ray comes up from behind me, getting really close to me.

"See you tonight," he whispers huskily in my ear which sends tingles down my spine. He then leaves.

Tonight? My eyes widen. Gosh! How could I forget? I have a date with Ray Tulden tonight! I face palm myself.

"You what???" Mia shrieks.

"I have a date with Ray Tulden tonight?" I repeat, looking at her in a weird way.

"OH MY GOD! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! LIKE OHHHHEEEMMGEEEE!!!" She starts squealing, making me cover my ears.

"Stop it, Mia! You'll make me deaf!"

"Ohmygosh! Woww!!! But, when, how, why?" She looked confused. "Tell me everything!" I groan and tell her everything, including that I have a date with Josh too, which made her squeal, again!

I eat my chocolate bar as Mia goes through my closet, choosing an outfit for me to wear on my date with Ray Tulden. At first, I freaked out when Mia said that she'd dress me up and all those shitty make up stuff. But now that she's here, she's saving me a lot of time. But it's only 5 now, when my date's supposed to be at 7! Mia said that I need at least 2 hours to get ready. But well, that's her theory, not mine. My theory is that I need just 30 mins or less to get ready.

"That's it!" Mia exclaims.

"What's it?" I ask.

"I found the outfit you'll be wearing," Mia rolls her eyes.
