Hey guys! Happy reading! :)
Chapter Twenty Five - Confessions To Drunk Dani
"Pass me that chocolate bar," I order Ray as I try to stop shivering while wrapping myself with a blanket.
"Get it yourself," Ray shivers. "I'm too cold here and you're not even lending me a blanket or anything."
While me and Ray were busy making out in the rain, a thunder and lightning suddenly striked, making the both of us jump.
Reality seeped into our minds as we ran as fast as we could to my house to escape the rain and now, here we are.
"I don't want to move," I whine. "Why don't you get it yourself?"
"And how do I know where it is exactly?" He glares at me.
I shrug. "You can find it somewhere lying around, if you're lucky."
"C'mon! I'm about to freeze out here!"
"Geez, stop your ranting and find something else to warm you."
"Hmm," he smirks. "I think I know what to do then."
Uh, oh. I don't like the sound of that.
Before I know it, he's kissing me. He holds my waist tightly as I tangle my hands on his hair. His tongue slips inside my mouth and explores every corner of it. Then he leaves my mouth and trails a line of soft kisses from my jaw to my neck.
Just when things were getting hot, Ray's cell phone starts ringing.
He curses under his breath before answering his call. "What is it?" He asks harshly.
"Hmm, okay. Yeah, I'll see you there," he grins.
Talk about mood changing.
"We're going to a party tonight," he smirks at me.
"Why should I?" I question.
"You will," he says in a bossy tone. "Besides, it's Friday! Loosen up and also it's Jason's party."
"Really?" I grin. "Maybe I'll go then."
"Wow, that was easy," he mumbles. "For the first time."
"Shut up!" I exclaim. "At what time is it?"
"Starts at seven," he glances at the clock. "Still three hours left."
I dial Mia's number and wait for her to pick up her phone.
"Hello?" She says.
"Hey, Mia," I say. "So there's this party tonight at Jason's house at 7. You going?"
"I don't know. You?"
"Yeah, I am so why don't you just come too?"
"Yay! I'll come then! I'll be at your house in 10 to get ready as there's only three hours left."
"Wait-" I try to argue but she already hangs up.
"Ugh, that girl," I turn to Ray. "You have to leave! Mia's coming over anytime soon and if she sees you at my house, gosh, I'm dead."
"Why?" He asks innocently.
"Shut up and leave," I roll my eyes.
"In this rain?" he gestures outside.
"It's just drizzling now!"
"Can't ruin my awesome hair now, can I?"
"Whatever, just leave."
