Both the dates are done! So now what? Read on to find out! :P
Hehe, I know I'm being so cheesy but what can I do? It's better to write something than nothing!
Well, here you go, guys! :D
Chapter Three - Look Who's Here
Nick's car honks for which seemed like the hundreth time this morning. I roll my eyes as I open the front door of my house and walk over to his car.
"I can see the patience," I mutter sarcastically.
"Be happy that I'm at least picking you up to go to school almost every day!" Nick rolls his eyes.
'That's cause that's your duty!"
"Oh, puh lease! Just because Jake is away and he had told me to-"
"Break it up, guys!" Mia exclaims.
"Oh, Mia! Hey! Didn't see you there!" I grin, waving at her.
"Yeah, I'm like so offended!" She dramatically puts her hand on her heart, faking hurt.
"Sorry, Mia babe! But you know she loves me too much to notice you!" Nick winks.
"She loves me more, Nick!"
"No, she loves me more, considering that I'm her childhood friend."
"Oh puh lease! She loves me more!"
"No me!"
"Me!"
"Me!!! Dani, tell Mia here that you love me more!"
"Sorry, guys but I'd better not interrupt your debate of who loves me more!" I wink and take a seat in Nick's car.
"Ugh! Forget it, Dani. You're real stubborn!" Nick starts his car and we ride on.
"Just how you love me!" I grin.
"Yes, Dani! You know it!" He sighs.
"Yes, I do, Nick!"
Mia rolls her eyes and mutter something under her breath. If you didn't know, yes, Nick is my childhood friend. We are pretty much close. Almost as close as me and Mia but I don't share my secrets with him, duh!
"So Dani, how'd the date with Josh go?" Mia asks once we reach school and head to our lockers.
"Um... Okay," I mumble.
"Did you guys kiss?"
"Uh..." I stutter. "No. Maybe. Yes. But it was just a simple peck that lasted for only like, one second!" She smirks.
"But didn't you say-"
"He started it and I couldn't even pull away cause it lasted for only a second!" I quickly interrupt her.
"Geez, Dani! I know you want to save your dignity but you don't have to be so worried about that!"
"I have to! Without my dignity, I'm nothing!" I joke.
"Oh is that so, huh?" A familiar voice says as he ruffles my hair. My face brightens immediately and I grin.
"Hey!" I turn around and hug him.
"Whoa! And I thought you'd beat the crap out of me!" He says returning the hug.
"I normally would, but I really really really missed you, Jake!"
"I missed you too, Dani!"
"Of course you did, Jakey!"
"I got to go to my class, guys so I'd leave you two besties alone!" Mia rushes off.
