11. I'm glad.

I was so happy i started to jump everywhere with the rose as Denis watched me. I wasn't expecting that to happen and now i was so excited for prom.

'' What am i gonna wear?'' i said stopping and looking at him.

'' It doesn't matter. You're beautiful anyway. Why do you think i call you that?''

'' You're too sweet for this life. But really, what am i gonna wear?'' i asked dropping on the couch.

'' I have no idea. Ask Hailey. She'll know what to do. And by the way, can you give me her number?''

'' Why?''

'' I told Ben she's your friend and he's gone mad. He asked me for her number.''

'' Yeah but why?''

'' I'll tell you if you promise you will not tell Hailey.''

'' I promise.''

'' He's gonna ask her to go to prom with him.''

'' I should have seen this coming. I can't believe i'm gonna go to prom and Hailey will too.'' i said running to Denis and hugging him.

'' Thank you.'' i said burying my face in his shoulder. I did this all the time and it was my favorite thing.

'' I'm glad you said yes.''

'' How could i say no?''

'' I don't know. You could. Now, you have to get ready for school right?''

'' Yes. Will you come with me? I don't want to go on the street alone.''

'' How could i say no to you?'' he asked me smiling.

'' Yay! I'm gonna go get ready.''

We leaved the house together walking to my school. Denis had stuff to do for school too but he did them on his laptop as he couldn't just go to a public school because of concerts. So when i was at school he did everything he had to do without being interrupted. But today i just felt like i didn't wanna walk alone.

As we got close to the school i saw Hailey's face when she saw me coming with Denis. And it wasn't just her face, it was everybody's face when they saw me coming with Denis. And that's not because they knew him, they had no idea who he was. It was because we were holding hands which for us two was something absolutely normal. Denis was okay with attention as he's a singer but i wasn't and i think he got it.

'' It's fine if you feel uncofortable.'' he said.

'' No, it's fine. It's not their problem.''

'' Are you sure?''

'' Yeah.''

'' Hey Hailey.'' we both said.

'' Hey Alexis. Hey Denis.''

'' Okay so i'll leave now. See you later.'' he said giving me a hug.

'' Bye Denis.'' i said as he leaved.

Everybody was staring at me and i didn't like it.

'' Can we go to our classes?'' i asked Hailey.

'' Sure. So, will you let me know why are you so happy?''

'' Why? I can't be happy?'' i said smiling.

'' Of course you can. But will you tell me nothing happened?''

'' No. Because something did happen.''

'' Come on. Don't make me wait.''

'' Denis asked me to the prom.'' i said.

It felt so good to say that out loud. I was so happy.

'' You're joking? That's amazing.''

'' Will you help me find a dress?''

'' What kind of question is that? Of course.''

'' Thanks.''

The day got away really fast as i got back home.

'' Denis, i'm back!'' i said entering the apartment.

'' Hello beautiful. How was your day?''

'' It was good how was yours?''

'' Boring.''

'' Well now i'm back. What do you wanna do?'' i asked.

'' I feel like going out.''

'' Where?''

'' What about the old park?''

'' Sure. Let's go.''

We left going to the park. It was our secret place. Even Hailey doesn't know about it. She knows i have a secret place but she doesn't know where it is.

'' So did you gave Hailey's number to Ben?''

'' Yeah. You should get a call from Hailey in any minut-''

And as he was saying that my phone started to ring.

'' Nailed it.'' Denis screamed.

'' Hi Hailey.''

'' Alexis you won't believe this.''

'' Tell me.''

'' Ben got my number and asked me to the prom. He's gonna come here for the prom. I can't wait.''

I started to laugh because i already knew that. And Denis was laughing too.

'' Why are you laughing?''

'' It's nothing.'' i said trying to stop.

'' You knew about this didn't you?''

'' No i didn't.''

'' Then why are you laughing?''

'' Okay, okay. I knew about it.''

'' Well now we can search for dresses together.''

'' Yes we can.''

'' Okay then i'll leave you now.''

'' Okay.''

Then she hung up. I was so happy for her. We got to the park where we listened to some music and sang at the top of our lungs and just had fun together. Then we leaved back to our apartment. And yes, we started to call it 'our' apartment. It was very cold outside and i was shaking as i didn't have a jacket.

'' Come here.'' Denis said giving me his jacket.

'' But now you're gonna be cold.'' i said.

'' I can handle it.''

'' Thank you.''

'' For what?'' he asked me.

'' For letting me stay with you and for being here for me and everything.''

'' Of course beautiful. Come here.'' he said giving me a long warm hug.

He was adorable and i loved him so much.

'' I'm glad i asked for your number.''

'' I'm glad i gave it to you.''
