I Always Loved You

14. Just another day.

Since we got home really late we were so tired we fell asleep immediately. The next morning i woke up to Denis looking at me as we usually woke up. If he woke up before me he would just watch me sleep and not move so i wouldn't wake up.

'' Morning beautiful.'' he smiled.

'' Morning.''

'' How did you sleep?''

'' I was so tired i fell asleep in a second.''

'' Me too. What do you want for breakfast?''

'' Whatever you want.'' i smiled.

'' I feel like i want pancakes.'' he said.

'' Pancakes it will be.'' i answered.

We got up and started to make them. Then we decorated each others pancake as we always did when we were bored.

'' I made a smiley face.'' i said showing him the pancake.

'' I did a heart.''

'' That's adorable.'' i said.

'' But yours looks so good.''

'' Either way they're not gonna be here for too long.''

We ate the pancakes then decided we had to do something.

'' What do you wanna do?'' i asked Denis as we were sitting on the couch.

'' I don't know. Let's do something interesting.''

'' Like what?''

'' I don't know.''

'' Well it was your idea.''

'' Oh, i know.'' he screamed.

'' What?''

'' Let's get some tattoos.''

'' Just like that? Going in a tattoo salon and get one done?'' i asked bitting my lip.

I always wanted a tattoo but i was too scared to get one.

'' Yeees.'' Denis said excited.

'' Let's do it.'' he continued.

'' I don't know...''

'' Come on Alexis. Pleeease? Do it with me.''

'' I never got a tattoo. I'm scared.''

'' It's not that bad. And i'm gonna be there with you.'' he said giving me the sweetest look ever.

'' You promise is not gonna be that bad?''

'' Of course i promise beautiful.'' he said hugging me.

'' Okay, fine.''

'' Okay then here is what we're gonna do. I'll get one first and then you so i can hold your hand.''

'' Fine but what am i going to get?''

'' Hmmm. Let's see. My name?'' he laughed.

'' I'm joking don't worry.'' he finished.

'' You know what? That might be a good idea.'' i smiled.

His look was priceless.

'' You're not serious. What if something happens?'' he asked.

'' Like what?''

'' I don't know. Don't want to think about it.''

'' If something happens i'll get it covered. But let's hope i won't need to.''

'' But wh-'' he started.

'' Come on. It was your idea.''

'' But i was just joking.''

'' But now i feel excited. I really want to get it done.'' i said getting up.

'' If that's what you want. But are you sure?''

'' Yes i am.'' i said excited.

'' And i have an idea.'' i continued.

'' What?''

'' I'll do it in your handwriting.''

'' You sure? Because my handwriting isn't the best.''

'' Yes i am. It's gonna be amazing. You'll see.''

'' Okay. I'll believe you.'' he said wrapping his arms around my waist.

'' I'm gonna go get ready.'' i said running out of his arms.

'' Well somebody's excited.'' he laughed.

In some minutes we got ready and leaved the apartment. We started looking for a good tattoo salon in the middle of the town. After some minutes of searching we found one. We started to tell the tattoo artist what we wanted and made sure it was possible. Denis got first as i stayed next to him. He was so calm. Like it was nothing, but i was scared as hell.

Denis got a diamond on his left arm and it looked amazing. And he was really happy with it. Then it was my turn and i started to panic. Even if i loved the idea of getting it done i was really scared. I got into the chair as the tattoo artist started to get ready.

'' Hey.'' Denis said.

'' It's fine i'm here. I'm always here.''

'' Are you ready?'' the guy asked.

I looked at Denis who nodded.

'' Yes.'' i said.

The guy started to work on it. It wasn't a big tattoo so it wasn't going to take too long but as it was my first one, it hurt a lot. The whole time i looked at Denis who was holding my hand and smiling at me.

'' It's done.'' the guy said.

'' Do you like it?'' he asked.

'' I'm in love with it.'' i said looking at it.

'' I'm glad you like it.'' the guy smiled.

Then we paid for them and got out starting to walk to our apartment.

'' You did it love.'' Denis said wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing my forehead.

'' Do you like it?'' i asked smiling.

'' I love it.''
