15. I know.

'' I'm glad you love it.'' i smiled.

'' So what are we gonna do now?'' Denis asked.

'' Let's go to Hailey's house. I want to show it to her.''

'' Okay then, call her.''

I got my phone out and called her as she immediately answered.

'' Hi Hailey. Are you home?''

'' Yes. I'm with Ben.''

'' I'm with Denis. Can we come there? I want to show you something.''

'' Of course you can. We're waiting for you.''

'' Okay. See you then.'' i said as i hung up.

'' What did she say?'' Denis asked.

'' She's with Ben. They're waiting for us.''

'' Then let's go.'' Denis said taking my hand.

We walked to Hailey's house for 15 minutes. I was so excited to show her the tattoo. We got there and i rang the doorbell. The door immediately opened up to reveal Hailey with a big smile on her face.

'' Come in.'' she said.

Denis started to talk with Ben and i started to talk with Hailey.

'' Where is your mom?'' i asked Hailey.

'' She's out of town for some days. What took you so long to get here?'' Hailey asked.

'' Your apartment is close.'' she finished.

'' We weren't at our apartment when i called you.''

'' Where were you then?''

'' We were in town.'' i smiled. I loved teasing her.

'' I got that but what were you doing there? And what did you wanna show me?''

'' We were there because we went to a tattoo salon.'' i said with a big smile on my face.

I was sure Hailey was going to get what i wanted to say.

'' Denis got a new tattoo?'' Hailey asked.

'' God damn Hailey Dawn. What's up with you today?''

'' What do you mean?'' she asked confused.

'' You really don't get it?''

Then she got it. Her face full of amazement was priceless.

'' You got a tattoo?'' she screamed.

I nodded.

'' Oh my god show me.''

I showed her my left wrist where the tattoo was. I was so proud of it.

'' You will tell me you fucking tattooed Denis' name on your wrist?''

I nodded again.

'' Since when did you decide to do this?'' she asked.

'' Today.''

'' I don't believe you.''

'' I'm serious.''

'' So what? Today you just woke up and decided a tattoo is a good idea?''

'' No. I woke up and Denis said he wanted to do something. So he decided he wants a tattoo. And he convinced me to get one too.''

'' And let me guess. His name was his idea.''

'' It was but he said it as a joke. Then i decided i wanted to do it.''

'' And what are you two to each other then?''

'' We're best friends.'' i said bitting my lip.

'' That's not what best friends do Alexis.''

'' I know.''

After some minutes me and Denis left to our apartment because it started to get dark outside.

'' Did Hailey like it?'' Denis asked.

'' Yeah she iked it. Did Ben like your tattoo?''

'' Yeah he did.''

What Hailey said was spinning in my head over and over again. She was right. That's not what best friends usually do. We were strange but my friendship with Denis was important and i didn't wanted to ruin it because i was in love with him.

'' Are you okay beautiful?'' Denis asked.

'' Yeah i'm fine.''

'' Are you sure? You're really quiet.'' he said looking at me.

'' I just need some sleep. That's all.'' i lied.

I didn't want to tell him what was wrong. I was gonna be fine by myself.

'' Okay. If that's all.'' he said kissing my forehead.

That night i fell asleep in his arms with my head burried in his chest like i always did.

Some weeks flew by as Christmas was getting close.

'' Morning beautiful.''

'' Good morning Denis.'' i smiled.

'' You know what i was thinking?'' he asked.

'' No. Tell me.''

'' I was thinking we should go buy some presents and decorate a tree today for Christmas.''

'' Yes let's go,'' i said jumping out of bed.

'' But we can stay in bed and sleep some more.'' Denis said watching me.

'' No. Come on, let's go. Get out of bed Denis. Pleeeease.'' i said giving him the sweetest look ever.

'' I can't say no to you. Can i?'' he laughed.

'' No you can't.'' i said starting to get ready.
