I Always Loved You

18. Christmas day.

'' Alexis wake up.'' Denis said shaking me.

'' What?'' i asked sleepy.

'' It's Christmas.'' Denis smiled.

As i realized i immediately got out of bed and runned into the living room. I sat on the couch waiting for Denis with a big smile.

'' I'll go first.'' he said sitting next to me.

'' Okay then.'' i smiled.

I was so excited. I loved Christmas and i was spending it with Denis this year. Later that day we were going to leave to see my mom and give her our presents. Then we were going to see Hailey who was going to probably be with Ben.

'' Are you excited?'' Denis asked smiling.

'' Of course i am. I can't wait.'' i laughed.

'' Okay, turn around and close your eyes.''

I did as he said and i immediately felt his hands putting a necklace on me. I opened my eyes and turned around looking at the necklace. It was a simple but beautiful necklace with his initial on it.

'' Do you like it?'' he smiled.

'' I love it so much. It's amazing.'' i smiled hugging him tight.

'' I'm glad you like it. I know you have the tattoo but i felt li-'' he started.

'' I love it as much as the tattoo.''

'' I'm happy to hear that.'' he smiled.

'' Okay now it's my turn.'' i said.

'' Okay let's see.''

I got up and took the guitar placing it next to him.

'' Open it.'' i said with a big smile.

'' Okay.''

He started to unwrap the guitar.

'' Oh my god Alexis a guitar?'' he asked amazed.

I nodded smiling.

'' This must have been expensive. You didn't have to.'' he said looking at me.

'' But you like it?''

'' I'm in love with it. You're amazing.''

'' You really like it?''

'' I do.''

Then it was a weird moment when we were just staring at each other smiling. I loved him so much. Everything about him. His eyes, his smile, his tattoos and the way he was as a person. He was amazing and i was so in love with him.

'' You're really beautiful.'' Denis said.

'' Thank you.'' i smiled.

'' I love you.''

'' I love you too.'' i answered.

'' Oh fuck this.'' he said pressing his lips against mine.

For a moment i was in shock. I wasn't expecting that at all. But i kissed him. Even if i wasn't expecting the kiss i loved him and that was all that mattered in that perfect moment.

After some seconds we broke off and we were just staring at each other.

'' What are we?'' i asked bitting my lip.

'' I don't know but we can solve this.''

'' How?''

'' Will you be my girlfriend?''

'' Of course i will.'' i smiled as he pressed a small kiss on my lips.

'' We have to get ready and go see your mom right?'' he asked.

'' Yes and then we'll go see Hailey who probably is with Ben.''

'' Okay.'' he said wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his head on my shoulder.

'' Denis.'' i laughed.

'' What?'' he asked.

'' We have to go get ready.''

'' But we can stay here some more minutes. It's early.'' he tried.

'' Deeenis.''

'' Okay okay. We'll go get ready.''

'' Thank you.''

'' I love you.'' he said.

'' I love you too.''

In some minutes we got ready and leaved to my old home to go see mom.

'' Hi mom. Merry Christmas.''

'' Hello Mrs. Smith.'' Denis said.

'' Hi Alexis. Hi Denis. How are you two?''

'' We're good mom. How are you?''

'' I'm good thank you. You two are really happy. Did something happen?''

'' Yes it did.''

'' Oh. Will you let me know what?''

'' We are a couple now.'' Denis said really proud.

'' Ah i'm happy for you guys. And Denis i'm really sorry about what i said and what i've done.''

'' It's fine. It was in the past.'' Denis smiled.

'' These are for you mom.'' i said. '' One is from me and one is from Denis.''

'' Guys you didn't need to get me anything.''

'' It's fine mom.''

She opened the presents and then we talked for a little. Then we left to see Hailey. I called her to let her know we were at the door.

'' What did she say? Is she with Ben?'' Denis asked.

'' Yes she's with Ben and she'll open the door any second.''

'' You look so beautiful.''

'' Thank you.'' i said kissing him.

Exactly in that moment Hailey opened the door and her look was priceless.

'' Oh my god you two.'' she screamed.

'' God don't scream like that. You scared me.'' i said.

'' Okay but you two are together.'' she said really happy.

Then Ben came on the door.

'' What happened Hailey? Hey guys.''

'' These two are freacking together.''

'' You are?'' Ben asked us.

'' We are.'' Denis smiled.

'' And i'm really happy.'' he finished.
