I Always Loved You

26. Home sweet home.

After the guys finished carrying the boxes we were all alone in the house. The furniture was already there but we still had so much to do.

'' It's so big.'' i said looking around.

'' It is.'' Denis said as he was watching me walking around.

'' So this is the living room, that's the kitchen, one of the bathrooms, upstairs it's our bedroom, the quests room, the office and the other bathroom.'' i said remembering the rooms.

'' Yep.'' Denis nodded.

'' So what's in there?'' i asked pointing at a room that i didn't know what it was.

'' Go look.'' Denis smiled.

I gave him a confused look before walking to open the door. What was he up to?

I slowly entered the room. There was a big window so the room was really bright and there was a desk, some shelves and a small purple couch.

'' Denis, what's this?'' i asked turning to him.

'' I wanted you to have a room just for yourself, where you could draw. But we have to decorate it. I know it doesn't look impressive right now but it will be when we'll hang some of your drawings here and you'll get everything you need.'' he smiled.

I turned around and ran into his arms burying my face in his chest.

'' I love you. You're amazing. Thank you so much.'' i said.

'' I'll do anything for you to be happy my love. And your drawings are amazing, you should keep on working at them. So i thought a room for yourself would be a good idea.''

'' It's amazing. I love it so much.''

'' I'm really glad you do.'' he said kissing me.

The next week i asked my mom if i could stay home to unpack everything. As packing everything was so stressful for me, i didn't want this to be the same. My exams were over so these last weeks of school weren't that important. Luckily, my mom understood and left me stay home.

We started decorating everything and the house was gradually coming together as we kept on adding our stuff. I loved it so much as it was representing our personalities. The apartment wasn't even close to the house. Don't get me wrong, i loved that apartment, we had so many memories from there but the house was amazing. And i actually got used to it being really big.

My drawing room was coming together too. I got to my old house and got all of my drawings and hung them up with Denis in different parts of the house, making it look interesting.

We finally finished on Saturday and we could actually calm down.

'' I'm proud of all of this.'' Denis smiled sitting on the couch next to me and wrapping his arms around me.

'' I know right? We did a great job.'' i said lightly kissing him.

'' We did. I'm glad we decided to hung up your drawings everywhere. They're really catching your eye and it makes everything more interesting.''

'' Thank you.''

I was actually thinking about forgetting what i wanted to do after i finished high school. Me and Hailey wanted to go study law together but Hailey started to have her doubts and i did too.

'' We should go to sleep now. Tomorrow Ben and Hailey are coming here to see the place.'' i said.

The next day we were all ready and waiting for Ben and Hailey to arrive. We were sitting on the couch when the doorbell rang.

'' This must be them. I'm gonna get that.'' Denis said getting up.

'' Hi guys.'' Denis said.

I immediately ran behind him to greet them too.

'' Hailey!'' i screamed running to hug her.

'' Oh my god i missed you so much Alexis. School was awful without you.''

'' I know. I missed you too. Hi Ben.'' i said smiling over to him.

'' Hi Alexis.''

'' Come in.'' Denis said.

'' Wow guys this place is absolutely amazing.'' Hailey said looking around.

'' Thank you.'' i smiled.

'' You two did a good job with all of this i have to say. And these drawing are amazing. Who did them?'' Ben asked pointing at the wall.

'' I know who did these drawings.'' Hailey said excited.

'' You do?'' Ben asked confused.

'' Alexis did them.'' Denis smiled looking really proud.

'' Woah Alexis you're amazing.'' Ben said looking at me.

The guys left after not a long time as they were having something to do. I had no idea what as Hailey said she can't tell me yet.

Denis' POV:

We spend the rest of the day in our pajamas as we didn't have anything better to do. Later, Alexis decided she would go draw something so i was alone in the living room watching tv.

It was late and i began to become really tired. As Alexis didn't leave the room i slowly opened the door to see if she wanted to go to sleep too. As i entered the room i saw that she fell asleep with her head on the desk. She told me she did that a lot, i guess nothing changed. She was adorable.

I took a moment to look around the room as i left her decorate it alone. I wanted it to be more close to her. I looked on the shelves to see that she had a lot of photos of us. There was a photo with us from prom, in the old park, on Christmas day, on tour, on my birthday and on her birthday. There also was a photo of her and Hailey from our concert. I was so glad we had that show.

I slowly grabbed her making sure i wasn't going to wake her up. With that ocasion i looked at the drawing she was working at. It was us kissing and it looked beautiful. It looked so real. She was my talented amazing girlfriend. Then i got upstairs into our room leaving her on the bed as i crawled next to her wrapping my arms around her.

'' Denis?'' she whispered.

'' Yeah?''

'' I love you.'' she said burying her head in my chest and falling asleep.

'' I love you too beautiful.'' i whispered back.
