10. Yes i will.

I woke up to Denis staring at me.

'' What are you doing?'' i asked sleepy.

'' I didn't want to wake you up.'' he said smiling at me.

'' Thanks.''

'' You have school today, right?''

'' I'm not going.''

'' What do you mean you're not going?''

'' Just today. I want to just stay in bed and watch tv shows and do nothing.''

'' Okay, if that's what you want. But only today.''

'' You sound like mom.''

'' I'm not. But i don't want to keep you from leaving to school.''

'' You're not. I promise it's only today.''

We spent the day staying in bed, watching tv shows and eating junk food. Denis stayed with me all the time. Later, my phone rang. It was Hailey.

'' Who's that?'' Denis asked.

'' It's Hailey.''

''Answer her. I'll pause the episode.''

I walked in the living room as i answered her.

'' Hey Hailey.''

'' Hey. Are you okay? You weren't at school today.''

'' I just felt like staying home today.''

'' You sure you're okay?''

'' Yeah i mean Denis came back earlier.''

'' That's awesome. But you're coming to school tomorrow right?''

'' Yes, i'm coming.''

Me and Denis continued to watch shows for a few hours after that until it was late so we got to sleep. He was so sweet. He could have just left me alone today but he didn't. And i'm glad he stayed with me.

The next day i left for school leaving Denis alone until i came back.

'' Do you know how hard was yesterday without you?'' Hailey asked.

'' I'm sorry.''

'' It's fine. I survived. Why did you stay home yesterday?''

'' I wanted to clear my thoughts a little.''

'' Why? What happened?''

'' I got into a fight with mom and left.''

'' Left? What do you mean you left? Where?''

'' I moved with Denis.''

'' What? I don't get it. Denis moved here?''

'' Yes. And i moved with him.''

'' That's cool. But sorry for your mom.''

'' It's fine. I'm gonna go and talk to her.''

'' And you're gonna move back?''

'' No. I'm not moving back. But i want to talk to her because all of this happened because she doesn't like Denis. But she doesn't even know him.''

'' Then go with him in the week end and talk to her.''

'' I will. Do you want to come with me home after school. We can watch something together.''

'' Spend some hours in the same room with the vocalist of my favorite band? How could i say no?'' she laughed.

I texted Denis asking him if it was okay. After he answered that it was, we leaved to his apartment.

'' Wow this place is cool.''

'' I know. Denis we're here.''

He got out of his bedroom as i said that.

'' Hey.'' he waved at us.

Hailey was on the point of almost passing out.

'' Hey, i remember you from the concert. I had no idea you're Hailey.''

'' You remember me?''

'' Yeah. Ben couldn't shut up about you after the meet up.''

'' You're serious?'' Hailey asked. Ben was her favorite band member.

'' Yeah. So what movie will we watch?''

'' I was thinking The Maze Runner?'' i asked.

'' Yes.'' they both answered at the same time.

We were watching the movie when Hailey remembered something.

'' Are you going to prom?'' she asked.

'' No. I don't have someone to go with, you know that.''

'' Yeah, me neither.''

We watched the movie until it was over and Hailey had to leave.

'' Bye Hailey. See you tomorrow.''

'' What was she talking about earlier?'' Denis asked.

'' Nothing important.'' i answered quickly.

Hailey didn't ask too loud so Denis wouldn't hear her.

'' If you don't tell me i'm gonna start to tickle you. I'm serious.''

''No. I hate that.''

I tried to run past him but he got me.

'' Denis stooop.'' i laughed.

'' I won't stop if you don't tell me.''

'' She was talking about the prom.'' i said still lauhing as he stoped.

'' You're not going?''

'' No. I don't have anybody to go with. I didn't want to go anyway.''

The next day i woke up alone in the room. I got up and into the living room searching for Denis when he wrapped his arms around my waist from behind me.

'' You scared me.'' i said.

'' I'm sorry beautiful.''

'' What's with the rose?''

'' You know, i wanted to ask somebody to prom.''

'' Um, okay?''

'' Alexis will you go to prom with me?'' he asked handing me the rose.

Okay i wasn't expecting that. It was early in the morning so my mind needed a minute to understand what was happening.

'' Yes, i will.'' i smiled at him.
