^Another Brick in the Wall (part 2) - Pink Floyd
I didn't know if I was ready or not to go back to school. I mean, I had to do something other than watch movies with Ben. I just didn't want to have to deal with Erik. Yes, Ben and I spent just about everyday at each others houses. It wasn't just us though, nothing happened. Both of our moms were pleased to use our relationship as an excuse to form a makeshift family for the holidays. Meaning everything we did, we did all together. We made cookies, watched movies, decorated just about everything multiple times. It was nice, not having to worry about anything until now.
"Hey Ev, ready for school?" Ben asks, slipping on his coat. He was finally able to do that himself now that he had regained full motion in his shoulder. The guys were away, somewhere warm near the ocean according to Instagram. So we didn't have to worry about them.
"Can't we just stay here?" I ask with a fake pout. I didn't totally want to stay home, I needed to learn something.
"You know the answer to that, babe." Ben smiles. He reaches down to grab his bag from behind me, except, he doesn't move around me. He leans down, making me lean back, and gives me a short kiss as he picks up his bag.
"Smooth..." I say, actually impressed with his actions. He turns towards the door and makes a wave with his arm in response. I giggle and follow him out to the car.
--
Erik walks up behind me, replacing Ben's arm with his own around my waist. Ben shoots him a look, but he just healed, I'm sure he's not going to try anything too stupid right?
"Hey Evie, ready for class?" Erik smirks, ignoring Ben's glare.
"Whatever, " I say, annoyed. "Get your hands off of me." I try to shimmy away from his grip.
"Careful with that squirming..." Erik teases. I stop immediately, not wanting him to do anything. We walk to class.
In class, he leans in close to my ear. It's apparently his favorite way to talk to me in class. I can feel his breath on my skin, sending shivers down my spine.
"Would you just say what your going to say, and get the hell away from me!" I hiss angrily.
"Are you complaining?" He says, with a raised eyebrow, backing away from me.
"Yes!" I sigh, a little relieved that he backed up. "Now please, stay away." I see him pull out his phone and tap something, then putting it back in his pocket.
"Ben Micheals. Please report to the office immediately. Ben Micheals. To the office now." Comes over the intercom system. I raise my hand to ask if I can 'go to the bathroom' meaning I need to see Ben while I know where he is.
"Put your hand down Evie." Erik glared at me. I keep it up. "You're going to regret this." He said promisingly. He reaches around me and pushed both of my hands to my side. Just then, the phone in the corner of my desk starts buzzing. Letting my hand go, he flips my phone over to see the screen. Ben was calling. He puts it on 'Do Not Disturb' and takes my phone, putting it in his pocket with his own phone. I lunge to grab it. He just grabs my arm and pushes me away. "You'll get it back at the end of the day."
A/N: Oh no he didn't just take her phone *snaps*. Comment what you think will happen next! What do you think will happen to Ben? What is Erik up to?
