I kept my promise and woke up kinda early. Not really but I woke up before 12 so that's cool. I looked out the window and saw the group setting up.
I got dressed in black and white high top Converse, black Jeggings, and a plain white t shit with a breast pocket on the right.

I walked into the yard and didn't see Joey yet. Only Power and a Caucasian boy messing with their phones and the microphone checking the beat.
"What's up?" Power asked
"Just waiting on y'all to start."
"I'm Nyck Caution. Call me Nyck." The Caucasian kid said
"I'm Powers Pleasant, Powers, Pleasant, PP. I don't care, which ever one you wanna call me
"Nice! I'm Leslie."
"Leslie. Joey's little girlfriend. He told me he was with you last night. Hope you guys didn't do anything. TT and Indigo gonna flip!"
"Indigo?" I asked
"Yeah, TT that hoe you cussed out the other day. She deserved that." Nyck said
"Damn. So what are you guys doing today?"
"Whatchu mean?" Powers asked
"Another rap battle or..." My voice trailed off
"Nah. We're just gonna perform some songs with a couple of freestyles." Nyck exclaimed
"Awesome. You guys don't mind if..."
"Nah. Go ahead!" Powers got up and motioned me to have a seat
"Thanks!"
"So what's going on with you and Joey?" Nyck asked as he faced me
"Bruh, ain't nothin' happening with us. We just-"
"Fuckinnn!!!" Kwon came out the cut
"Kwon where you been?" Powers asked
"I was taking a shower and I had the munchies so I munched on some candy, then I came down here." He came and sat between me and Nyck "Ayeeeee!!! What's up lil mama!!!!??" He gave me dap
"Sup!"
"Aye. You a real one!" He put his arm around me "Ain't you Joey's lil uh."
"She says that she's not his boo." Powers said
"Well shit. That's y'all business. I ain't in it and Nyck and Power shouldn't be in it."
"I guess so." I said as I sank down in my seat
• 15 Minutes Later •
Everyone got here and some twelve year old girl was rapping. She wasn't bad at all. She was rapping about how people are underestimating her now but will get to the top real soon.
"Just wait till I glo up!" She ended
Another kid was about to step into the circle until TT and another girl showed up
"Yo, yo, yo!" TT waved her hands in the air signaling power to stop the beat.
