The apartment was lit as fuck.
"He said this was an apartment...this is a fucking penthouse my niggas!!! I thought when he said apartment, it was gonna be small!" Aliyah squeaked
"I ain't complaining!!!!" I looked around and it was beautiful.
Laila plopped on the couch. "Leslie there is a note in the kitchen. I think your brother left it."
I looked at the counter and saw a note with his cursive handwriting.
Dear, My Favorite Sister Leslie

"What about him?" Aliyah asked as she rolled around on a yoga ball. I handed her the note. "Ew."
"Exactly. He said he might drop by." I sat on a yoga ball across from Aliyah.
"Y'all bullying Vince. Leave him alone. He ain't do nothing." Laila said from the couch.
"You right. Let me chill." I said
"Mmm." Aliyah looked around. "This place is fucking huge!"

We skated slowly down the sidewalk and took in the city.
"Damn. I need to move in with you if this is what you see everyday!" Laila said
"I will soon see this everyday with my husband Rakim." Aliyah said as she smiled.
"Um...no! Rakim is five years almost six years older than you, you better go on somewhere." I said
"Shut the fuck up. Anything is legal when the cops not around." She said nonchalantly.
I snapped my neck looking at her. "What the fuck?"
Laila almost fell off her board. "HUH?"
Aliyah smirked. "Nothing. Nothing sweet children."
"Ew good. We gonna hit up Ben's." I said as I made a sharp left.
"Damn! Say where you're going before you do it!!!" Aliyah whined
"You'll be fine, is a key to success." I picked up speed and moved onto the street.
"Leslie you the one that got us on this long boarding shit!" Laila yelled over the wind.
"Ok but that was in 7th grade. You had about five years to practice this shit. Y'all should be Pro's right now."
"Like you?" Aliyah said sarcastically.
"Exactly." I bet they're rolling their eyes right now.
"Whatever. Well, master Leslie. Left or right?" Laila said
"Right." We turned right and made it to Ben's.
"Y'all need to try them wraps." I said as I walked in "Kwon and I were here about a week ago smashin' them shits."
"Is it better than Midwood though?" Laila said
"Hell no!! Nothing is better than Midwood!!" I exclaimed.
"We'll have to see." Aliyah said
"Ain't nothing to see, Midwood is the bestttttt! Big ass chicken, sweet potato fries and brisket is bomb as fuck!" I said "Damn. That's the only thing I miss about Charlotte. Fuckin' Midwood."
We took a seat and ordered.
