"No thanks, I don't drink." I said kindly to the host of the party offering me a glass of wine. The party was at one of Trevor's friends mansion. There were about 50 other people.
"You ok?" Aliyah whispered.
"Yes. I'm great." I lied as I sat on the couch watching whatever was on the TV, I couldn't hear it because of the cringe worthy pop songs in the background.
"Why don't you grab a glass of wine. Have a little fun, don't be so uptight." Trevor said as he waltzed over to me with a beer in hand.
"I don't drink." I said
"Since when."
"Since now." I sassed.
"Hm. Alright, suit yourself. I'll be in the kitchen"
I wasn't comfortable at this party at all, so many underaged drinkers. There were some legal people but they preferred soda. Some guy was hitting on Laila.
"Yo! That's my wife!" Quincy said as he sped walked to this side of the room.
"Oh shit." Aliyah said to me.
"I ain't know." He said as he backed off of Laila.
"Nah Bruh!" He pushed the dude. "What's good!?"
He held his hands up in mercy. "Yo Bruh! Chill. I ain't know that was yo girl! I'm sorry." He walked away.
Quincy grabbed Laila off the couch. "You gon stay with me the rest of the party!" He said through clenched teeth.
Laila nodded. "Yes sir."
"Damn." I snickered with Aliyah.
