"I hope your ears aren't sensitive." Kwon said as we walked down the subway steps into the underground metro.

"People won't really talk to you unless you say something to them."

"Got it." I said as he swiped the card for me

"Never hop over these unless you wanna get fined $150."

"Alright." We stood before the yellow line and waited in the stuffy underground.

20 Minutes Later •

The train finally came. I stepped in and sat down next to Kwon.

"Shit it's cold!" I rubbed my arms. Kwon took off his pro era sweatshirt revealing a Pro Era shirt.

"Here."

I pulled it over my head. It was a pretty baggy but I still looked cute in it.

"New Pro Era model?" He smiled

"Nah!" I giggled "Can't be no model looking like this."

"Looking like a goddess?"

"Looking fool." I corrected him

"Nah. I think you look good to be honest. Joey fucked up."

"Ugh! Can we not talk about him. His name is starting to piss me off."

"Alright, alright, alright! Can't promise I won't say anything though."

"Fine."

The train came to a halt with a loud screech. "I miss the sound of the train."

"Miss? You been on one of these before?" He looked at me with a concerned look

"Yeah! I've been NY for a whole summer. You really didn't have to tell me how metro worked but I only listened to see if you were gonna tell me anything interesting that I didn't know."

"Did I tell you anything interesting?"

"Not really to be honest. My grandma told me what you just said but I didn't wanna kill your thunder by saying I know. That seems a little rude anyway. I'm not rude."

"Uh uh! You can be." He said. People boarded the train and we continued moving. We spent a little more time underground but came up soon. I was amazed by the sea of buildings, apartments, stores and cars.

Kwon smiled "You look like a kid in a candy shop. Never seen anyone so fascinated by a city like you."

I chuckled "It's cause I've lived in such a quiet place. I'm still getting used to the ruckus at night, but I feel like this city was calling for me. It sounds cliché but it's true." I giggled

"Got you. We gonna be in this train for a while so...Get comfortable, Leslie."
