"Thanks for the food though!"
"Anytime." I yawned
"Tired?"
"Mm mm!" I stretched
"I haven't had a female friend in a while. Not one like you."
"What do you mean one like me?"
"You care." He said "Some of you females just want to fuck and only stick around because I rap hoping I make it big so you can lie saying that you was there for me when you really wasn't."
"It's like the other way around. It's usually girls complaining about that."
"We go through a lot more than you think we do." He played with his fingers "You real special and you're someone I wanna be around all the time."
I wanna bring up TT but I don't want it to seem like I'm tryna start some drama.
"Then why do you act like you hate me?" I asked
"I don't know. I guess I was a bit paranoid. I don't let people in easily. School fucked that up for me. I used to be naive like you. But then Pro Era started so I knew I had to quit that, especially being one of the leaders. You wouldn't want a group with people just popping in like that would you?"
I shook my head
"Exactly but I see a light in you. You give off this energy. Opposites attract huh? Never believed it till now."
"Crazy."
"I ain't no little bitch though so don't get it twisted baby girl!"
I laughed at the transition. We both laughed. I'm catching feelings. I can't deny it now.
