This chapter is from Joey's Point Of View (POV)
"Rakim you're her brother?!" My jaw dropped as I looked at him.
"Yes nigga! We are related!" He scoffed.
"Rocky and I raced up here once we heard the news." The pretty dark skinned girl with Rakim said.
"Joey's girlfriend is missing! We just gon sit here and get past an introduction?! No, we need to get to the shit. It's not too late out!" Powers said.
I signaled for him to stop because that's her brother and he look protective but it was no use. I was ready for Rakim to knock my lights out or some shit
"You go out with my sister?!" Rakim put down his back pack on my dining room table and stood less than a foot away from me.
Shit, shit, shit. My ass gon get beat.
"Yeah." I said nonchalantly.
"OOO! Young nigga Jozif you lucky yo ass surrounded by yo homies and my sis is missing cuz I would have snuffed yo meat patty ass." He said.
His girl held him back. "Rocky please."
"Nah Kamiyah. Nigga fuckin' with my sis and now she missin'!"
"Look man, I know we have had problems in the past but we need to move on. For Leslie."
"He's right Rakim." The girl said. "Let's just get started, each second we waste Leslie could be getting hurt or maybe even worse. I'm pretty good with computers so I'll gather some info from my IPad."
"We need Issa too. Twos a team." Kwon said.
"Shit you right. Kwon call him." I said.
"He live all the way in the Bronx! It'll take that nigga forever to get his cat eye ass down here." Kwon shrugged and munched on a beef patty. "Too much work."
"Kwon!" I said
"Ok, ok, ok." He wiped his hands on a paper towel and dialed his number.
Rakim crossed his arms and sat on the couch with Kamiyah.
"You need to calm down!" She whisper shouted at Rakim.
"I'm chill as fuck, bruh!" He shrugged her hand off his shoulder and she shook her head while typing on her IPad. She kinda cute but I ain't gon do Leslie like that.
"He said that he's on his way." Kwon said as he put his phone back in his pocket and continued to eat his beef patty.
"Aight. So we just gotta wait fo him right?" Dessy said
"Right."
