After Aliyah and Laila finished telling me about our caregivers I didn't feel comfortable in the house with a man- with men that beat us. I guess I've got to get used to it or do right.

"I'm gonna got check on Trevor..." I got up and tip toed upstairs to his room. He was playing Fallout 4 on his PlayStation 4.

I hesitated a little but he already saw me and paused his game. "What?"

"I-I just wanna talk." I walked towards him cautiously.

"About what?"

"What happened..."

He huffed and patted the space next to him in his bed. "Come."

I climbed on the bed and sat cris crossed.

"I want to know why you are hitting on me?" I was scared to say it but actual concern took over. "There's no need for you to do all that. It wasn't- it wasn't that serious."

"I know. I'm sorry, I was just angry." He touched my shoulder and I flinched at his warm hands.

"Why take your anger out on me?" I took deep breaths and covered myself just in case he wanted to hit me for asking a question.

"I'm not gonna hit you, lil one." He hugged me.

"I wanna go out." I pouted.

"Out? For what? There is no out." He laughed

"How the world is like, Oliver!" I rolled my eyes, this time I ain't care if he hit me cuz I'll fight back for what I need. "You expect me to do the shi- stuff you ask me do when I don't even know how to behave like a normal person. TV is where I see other people and they don't treat each other like how you and ya boys treating me and those girls."

He busted out laughing. "Leslie, we are not everybody else!"

"Stop laughing!" I pleaded. "I'm serious! I want to live normally, not like some slave."

"Oh please!" He scoffed. "You ain't no body. Hell, you and ya girls ain't no body. Y'all just here to serve us and fulfill our desires."

I pursed my lips. "You don't understand."

"No, no, no." He put a finger over my lips. "You don't understand, you barley know anything!"

"I know that what you're doing ain't right."

"Stop talkin'. You wasting yo breath. Like I've told you many times, we will discipline you and you'll know how to act like the sluts you are."

"Sluts?" I said. "We are people, last time I checked."

"You don't want me to hit you, do you?" His face turned a little red.

I scowled at him. "For proving a point?"

"You ain't proving shit, you only proving how much of a bitch you are anyway." He snickered. "It ain't like I ain't know you was a bitch."

"You got some nerve calling me a bitch. You, the one not admitting that you were wrong is a bitch. As a matter of fact, that's a pussy!"

He huffed trying to keep his cool. "You testin' the waters, Leslie."

"I know what I'm doing." I said

He started cracking up. "You know whatchu doin? Lemme see you try to do your hair or even write."

"Like I have any knowledge on that!" I rolled my eyes. "You get to choose what I know!"

"Yeah right."

"You do!" I said. "I don't know shit but my name. You're not teaching me and I'm not gonna get anywhere if you don't."

"You right."

"I know it but you don't need to be layin' yo hands on me. I ain't some shit you can just toss around."

Two dudes came in the room

"What's goin on?" One of them said. "I heard y'all yellin and shit."
