Loud ringing echoes in my ears. The announcer fall over, collapsing on the stage. "Someone just shot her," I think. I freeze in my place, and the prince grabs my arm. He tugs me over to a wall and screams, "You will live... no matter what... YOU WILL LIVE!" He runs back to the scene of mayhem. I'm breathing hard, trying to focus on good thoughts... but I'm interrupted.
A hand clasps itself onto my mouth, and another hand clenches my neck. "L-l-let m-me g-go," I whisper hoarsely. "Shut up girl," a masculine voice snaps. I shut my mouth and he drags me to a dark tunnel.
I look around the room, and see a rusty chandelier above me. Cobwebs are covering the lights and I see random scraps of metal scattered on the floor. "Don't even think about speaking," a feminine voice warns. I turn around to see a thin figure. "No," I breathe, shocked at who it is.
