After we had visited the other island, Jorvin, we took a flight back home. Truthfully, Jorvin was waaaayy more exhausting than Waterbridge. All we did was talk about recycling and water safety. Fun, right? Hehe,  no.

It feels like today is going by in slow motion. You know that feeling when summer break is over and you know that school is going to be the next day? Yeah, that's what I'm feeling right now... pure sadness. Evan said that we could have an extra day off from Silvercrest, so at this current moment, I'm staring at the ceiling. "SO BORED," I mumble, as I cover my head with a pillow. I hear the door click open, and suddenly the pillow is lifted off my head. "Mmpphh," I groan. "Someone's happy today," a male voice chuckles. "Evan, get off," I demand. He does what I say, and hops off the bed.

"Want to go somewhere, darling?"

"Like where?"

"The pool."

"It's like 6:00 in the morning!!! No!"

"Umm... it's past noon..."

"Wait... HOLD UP... IT'S PAST NOON!!!" I sit up straight in my bed, "Good lord! Why didn't you wake me up sooner!"

"I'm not your dad," he laughs and sweeps the bed covers off. I hurry and put on a mint green flounce top bikini. Over that, I put on a sundress. When I come out of the bathroom, Evan's mouth drops open. "Is there something wrong?" I wiggle my eyebrows. "Wow," he breathes. He takes my hand and together, we walk out to the pool.

Before I can say something, Evan lifts me up and throws me over his shoulder. "What the heck are you doing!!!!?" I scream while fidgeting in his arms. He doesn't reply... and before I know it... I'm drenched. "Evan! You are so going to get it!" I yell. I pretend to cough up water, and it tricks him. "Bree! Are you okay!?" he comes up to the water. I don't respond, and he looks worried. He dives in and grabs my waist. Right as he surfaces, I spit a mouthful of water at his face. His expression is shocked. "So you were faking it," he pretends to look mad, but I can see through his act. "Yup," I laugh, and he laughs with me.

After our little "swimming date", I get ready for dinner, since I slept through breakfast and lunch. I put on a pink satin dress (shown as pic of chapter; girl modeling it is NOT Bree) and slide on some gold flats. I walk over to the restaurant, and sit down next to Aurelie and Krista. Ever since Laurenna left, Krista and I have been becoming closer and closer friends.

I look down at the appetizer, which is beef tartare with shallots and watercress. I scoop a bit up with my spoon and eat it. I must have made a weird face, for Evan saw me and it seemed like he was going to burst with laughter. I gave him a look, and he shut up. I really want to spit it out, like I really want to. But I can't since the king is present, and I'm already on his bad side.

I force myself to swallow it, and I can sense that Evan is watching me struggle. "May I speak to Lady Brianna, privately," he says, saving me. The King looks at him, and then at me, then back at him. He nods while glancing suspiciously at me.

Evan pushes me over to a trash can, and points at it. "Go ahead," he laughs. "I can't when you're watching," I blush. He grins a lopsided smile and looks away. I spit out the beef disgustingness and wipe my mouth with a napkin. "I take it that you totally love the beef tartare," Evan chuckles, "I'll make sure to specially request that for an appetizer whenever you are coming to eat."

"You wouldn't dare," I smirk. "Oh, I would," he grabs my wrist and leads me back to the table. "What was that about?" Krista leans towards me. "I needed to spit out the food, but I couldn't do it here when the King was watching, so he 'talked' to me and led me to a trash bin," I explain. She laughs and says, "Wowww... Bree... woww."

After the dessert course, the King looks anxious. "I wonder what he's about to do," I think. A couple moments pass and soon he can't take it anymore. He stands up abruptly, and strides over to Marabelle. He whispers something to her, and Mara nods. She stands up and asks to be excused. Evan says "yes" and I watch the King and Marabelle go out the door.
