Brianna's PoV:

I was recently informed about how all of the ladies are going to have to meet up in the common room. They said to wear something classy and elegant, so I choose a flowy, white silk floor-length gown with a simple, thin gold belt around my waistline. I look like an angel. I lightly curl my hair, so that it's in long waves. I place a matching gold headband in, and look in the mirror. "Beautiful," I think to myself, my self-confidence slowly building up. I walk out the door with my head held high.

I enter the common room to see many cameras and photographers. Green-screens are set up in many areas, as well as various props. I realize that we're doing a photoshoot and a report. On instinct, I grimace. The queen and prince are present as well. Evan comes over to me, dressed in a navy blue suit. He looks very handsome. He tells me that the princess and king are over at the men's room, trying to set up another photoshoot.

Soon, we're ready. Marabelle is wearing a super short, red dress with many cutouts. I wince at the sight, but then see Aurelie. Wearing a light blue dress, she looks absolutely gorgeous. Her hair is in an intricate updo. Silver strappy high heels are placed on her feet, making her light blue nail polish visible. Krista and Laurenna are both wearing purple dresses, however Krista's is lavender, and Laur's is indigo.

"Next up... Lady Brianna!" the news reporter announces. So... apparently my pictures are going to be shown on TV... great. I get up and walk over to the green-screen. The photographer adjusts my body position, but he frowns. "Is something wrong?" I ask. "There's something missing," he wonders aloud. "Ah! Your Highness, may we use you for one photo? Just one," the photographer pleads. "Sure," Evan looks amused, almost embarrassed. I smirk, and soon, he's standing next to me. He wraps his arm around my waist, and places his hand near my chin to where I look at him in the eye. He then pulls me to his chest and "SNAP!" A photo is taken. He lightly kisses me on the cheek... "SNAP" Another photo.

I smile as I sit back down. Mara glares at me, Laur looks jealous, Aurelie just looks plain happy, and Krista isn't looking at me. After a couple more minutes, we finish the photoshoot. "Lady Brianna? Lady Marabelle? You need to stay here," the Queen instructs. The rest of the girls leave, and Krista mouths, "Good luck," to me. I smile and shrug my shoulders.

"You need to apologize for your actions, Marabelle. The prince has decided to let you stay, so long as you say an excuse. He has already told me to tell you to say that you swallowed the beverage wrong, so you spit it out on instinct. I have been informed by your actions by my son, as well as by me seeing it myself. Do this one task right, and you will earn trust," the Queen sternly states. Mara solemnly nods, faking seriousness. Then the Queen turns to me. "You need to prove that you can talk to the public without getting nervous. This is a task that was specially requested by His Royal Majesty. He will be watching on TV later when you are not present, so I suggest that you try your hardest," she informs me. Then she leans down to whisper, "I'm secretly on your side, so I will be extremely disappointed if you can't pull this off."

I nod, and take my place near the prince. Mara tries to loop her arm in Evan's, but Evan pulls away out of her grasp. I chuckle silently. Marabelle apologizes, faking being sad. Evan and I can see through her act, but most people probably can't. I then prepare myself for a speech. "Hello, I'm Brianna. Most of you already know me, but some don't. I am here to tell you my story. I originally didn't want to come here. I didn't even know it existed. But, my mom and sister entered me. I was so shocked, I didn't know what to do. No offense to the prince, but at first I thought he was stuck-up and stiff, but he's not. I've come to realize that if you actually spend quality time with him, he's not so bad," I laugh, and dare to look at Evan. He's laughing quietly, and his mother is too. "From the couple of hours I've spent with him... I know that if he were in danger in some way, I would sacrifice myself for him," I conclude. "Wow... that's devotion right there, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you Lady Brianna and Lady Marabelle!" the announcer ends the report, and comes over to me. "You're not the typical young woman, eh?" he grins, winking. "I guess you could say so," I laugh, ending off the day with a great accomplishment.
