Brianna's PoV:

I'm so happy that Mara gets to stay in the competition. Even though she and I have just started to get along, I consider her a life-long friend. I realize that I'm still underneath my covers, so I scoot up in my bed and look out the window. I notice water dotting the glass, and soon I'm up in a nightgown, opening the windowpane to stick my hand outside. Cold drops land in my palm. Soon, I a standing on my balcony, overlooking the entire school. My drenched hair hung to my back, and I fling my shoes off. Soon, I was standing there, staring at the view. I hear the doorknob click, and footsteps make their way to me. An arm encircles my waist, pulling me inside so that he doesn't get soaked. I look up into deep blue eyes, and he leans down to kiss me. Before he can though, I grab his arm and drag him into the rain. He opens his mouth, shocked, but then grasps my hand and picks me up bridal style. "My darling, you will have to pay for that," he grins mischievously. I squirm in his arms, trying to break free. But, it's useless. He spins me around in circles, till I'm dizzy. He gently sets me back onto the slippery floor, and gazes into my eyes. "Change," he instructs. "What?" I ask, confused. "Go change," he repeats, and leads me inside.

I go into the bathroom and rummage through my closet. I grab a blue dress and put it on. I walk over to my full length mirror and look at myself. I feel warm breaths behind my neck, and I pivot. "I don't think I ever invited you in here," I smirk, pushing him out the door. But he's stronger, and he stays where he is. I groan, and he chuckles softly. "How about this," he hands me a midnight blue gown that is bedazzled a lot... a lot. I wince at the thought, but he continues to beg. I finally say yes and walk over to my wardrobe to put it on. Evan follows me, and I can sense that he's staring directly at my behind. "Do you mind?" I laugh without turning around. "Women can't dress by themselves, can they?" Evan challenges. I blow out a breath in frustration, and turn around to face him. "I believe they can," I shoot back, and slam the door shut.

After I slip on my strapless bra, I sense hands slowly making their way up to my neck. He rubs circles on my back. "EVAN!!!" I scream at the touch, and spin around. His blue eyes search mine, and soon I'm scrambling to get my clothes on. I see in the corner of my eye, Evan. He stares at his feet, humiliated. I walk over to him slowly, making sure to get his attention. Using my index finger, I gently push his chin up so that he's looking at me. "It's okay," I reassure him, and press my lips firmly against his. He breathes a sigh of relief, and passionately nips my ear. I moan, and he seems to notice. Soon, he has me pushed against the wall, and he trails his kisses down my stomach. I shiver at his touch, and after a while, we're back outside. I glance to see if it's still raining, but the downpour has stopped.

I carefully step onto his shoes, and he peers down at me. Soon, he moves his feet slowly, and moments later, we're waltzing around the balcony. My delicate feet balance on his, and my gown trails behind me, flowing in the crisp air. Luscious waves of hair fly as I twirl and spin. Eventually we slow down, and come to a stop.

"I have one question for you, Brianna Stone."

"Yes, Evan?"

"Do you love me?"

I bite my lip, which lets a few drops of blood seep into my mouth. "I-I-" I begin, but then inhale a deep breath and proceed, "I do."
